Stiff competition...
While I'd consider this to be one of the best—and most flexible—figure (drawing) reference toys on the market, the TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human Female feels like a disappointing sequel to its male counterpart. Overpriced and underwhelming construction, it lacks the superior quality materials, robust design and rigidity that made the male version impressive. Instead, the female version feels fragile, light and sort of "cheap"—as if it came from a different manufacturer altogether. At first, I even wondered if it was a "synthetic" of the synthetic. Haha!Overall, the devil on my left shoulder says it's hard to justify the cost for something that doesn’t live up to its predecessor. But the angel on my right insists that if you have the patience of a saint and fingers as delicate as a brain surgeon’s, this sometimes stiff-jointed figure could still be a delightful addition to your collection. 😇👿

Mad I didn't buy this sooner
After missing the 1/6 release for these I wondered if I wanted the 1/12 ones or if I was just sad I missed the big ones. I finally caved because I saw folks were using them as a drawing aids and I'm a sucker for cool and functional.Same size as figma, but allows for way better poses. I'm really impressed with how sturdy she is, especially when compared to figma. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying another one of these and retiring the figma and bodychan/kun!As a person relatively new to collecting 1/6 figures, I'm still very sad I missed them! 1000Toys really nailed it with the small ones. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for their future releases in both sizes.

Great figure
Price wise, its an expensive figure. Depending on who you’re buying from, it can be too expensive. Figure articulation is great. Joints are all tight and posing is smooth. Its a bit out of scale next to the typical 6” figs but it works.

Severely limited range of motion for head.
I really, really want to like this figure. But the lack of posability for the female model's head is pretty inexcusable when the male model has no such issue. There appear to be two different ways the faces and heads are attached between them, with the male on a double sided ball bearing at both the neck and the jaw, while the female has a single ball bearing in the neck only.Further limiting motion for the head is the fact that the female neck is just too thick and constantly is pushing into the chest piece. All put together, you can't tilt the female figure's head back, or from side to side whatsoever. Only when she's looking down is the full expected range of motion possible.Honestly a baffling experience. I can't even begin to fathom why the company didn't just use the same double ball bearing connection for the head joint. While there is still a lot to praise about the doll, I am very disappointed that such a key point for posing is crippled-- and I would reccomend anyone else who wants these figures to only purchase the male doll until the female doll has been improved.

Everything I Wanted (With A Catch)
Literally, the best articulation I have EVER had or seen on a figure. Period. If you do any sort of art? This is the figure you want. If you love cybernetic robots or bio-human (Ghost in The Shell) sort of stuff, buy this figure. Only gripe (Slightly small) more of a 5.5 than a 6 inch figure, but it's not a huge fault.I can't stress enough how much fun this figure is to mess around with! It even has little pegs in the eyes for both heads that allow you to manipulate which way the figure is looking as well for some great expressions!1000 Toys knocked it out of the park with this one. If you have the means, buy 2-3 if you're an army builder. They can come in handy for generic "futuristic" synth enemies. 5/5 and 10/10 I would buy this figure several more times!

Remarkably outstanding make and poseability; for the price, I was still totally surprised
Not to knock body kun models; I've been buying those for years for animation / drawing reference, and if i need a bunch of them on a budget for a scene or something some day, I do reccomend them for that and for anyone starting out- but if you have those, and want to get yourself something seriously nice, or if you're someone looking for a drawing model figure and are weighing between this and body kun; i can't lie- this is the best posable figure i've ever gotten. It's also standard size so the body kun figures are absolutely still useable, but this thing is for sure the star of whatever it is I'm setting up a scene for.
