This was just what I was looking for. It does have a serrated edge and is very sharp. These little knives will cut through anything. Note: they are made in Spain, not Germany. However, the quality is exceptional, so I would not consider that an issue. I personally wish they were made in the USA, but at least they are not cheap imitations made in China. Some of this brands knifes are made in China; they will cost less. I use these knifes as kitchen knifes as well as steak knifes. They are not great for chopping, but they will do everything else.

These feel light and cheap.

Best steak knives. Husband uses them to cut up vegetables too. Think they are being discontinued so order them now!

The serrated blades on these knives are really sharp and cut easily. The knives also don't require handwashing and the finish holds up well after being washed in the dishwasher. Thinking of getting another set!

These knives are really keen. They don't rust, they're sharper than a Rhodes Scholar, and keep their edge better than old folks. All seriousness aside, you could shave with Zwilling J.A. Henckels Stainless Steel Steak Knives, and save on razor blades. Lash them to a stick and hunt wild pigs, and save on the grocery bill. One need not split hairs to say that Zwilling J.A. Henckels Stainless Steel Steak Knives are on the cutting edge of cutlery.
