This thing works exactly as described and is not very loud at all. Only time it has an issue is if the ball gets too wet. My dog loves it, I just think she is broken because I can’t teach her to drop the ball in it.

This gets five stars if your dog retrieves. My dog doesn't. I'll put the ball in, it shoots out, my Della goes after it but takes off with the ball, hides it and won't bring it back. So there the machine sits until I round up the balls when cleaning the house at some point...I recommend it for small dogs because the balls are small and it's a cute toy IF YOUR DOG WILL STAY AND PLAY. Definitely not recommended for your average Italian Greyhound that will do the complete opposite of every other dog.

We bought this for our pup who will fetch until your arm falls off. It works great but you have to rotate the balls as wet balls do not go that far. The only downside is there is no sensor that will stop the launcher from sending the ball when the dog it right in front. It doesn't come out hard enough to hurt anything but defeats the purpose of a launcher

LOVE this product! Our dog loves to play fetch, and this machine keeps going after we've pooped out. Unlike others, it's silent until the ball is dropped into the shute. The distance it throws the ball is adjustable - - and accurate. This machine throws it clear across our yard. Best part - - it's (long lasting!) rechargeable and therefore wireless, so we can put it anywhere in our yard. My only suggestion would be to incorporate a handle into it. It's not heavy or overly big, but some might be put off when they hoik it up after their dog's been dropping a drooly ball into it. If you're looking for your pooch to be self-entertaining, be prepared to do some training, but I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I’m so disappointed in the product Worked great with the first charge my border collie lived it, after that the machine wouldn’t throw the ball even 5 feet. There can’t be any slobber on the ball so you have to wipe the balls before putting them back in. What’s the point if you have to sit there and wipe balls every time it’s used.

I purchased this hoping to give my arm a rest. We have a 43 lb fur missile that will play fetch till she drops. I picked this one for the max range of 40’ because our fenced in backyard is only about 50’ x 50’. I received it in good condition and well packaged. Charged it overnight and began sending included tennis balls down range to the delight of my little friend. Played for about 45 minutes with no issues and put it back on charge till the next day. This went on for two more days when I noticed the balls were not going as far as straight out of the box. After verifying there were no obstructions I marked off 20,25,30,35 and 40’. It wa consistently hitting between 30 to 35’. After two more days it was down to around 27 to 28’ consistently and now down to barely 25’.

It took a few days to teach my little Rat Terrier how to use this ball launcher, but once she got the hang of it, she was hooked! She was so excited that she kept playing with it for four hours straight. After a long day of work, I don’t always have the time or energy to play fetch for that long, especially when I still have things to do around the house and need to prepare meals. This ball launcher has truly been a lifesaver—it keeps my dog entertained and active while giving me a much-needed break.

My Aussie is in love with this thing! She gets so excited when we bring it outside and the noise starts when you put the ball in. It holds a charge and is easy to figure out. You can adjust the distance settings which is awesome for us!
