This product is excellent. After reading the directions it was very easy to install. I had some help to get the film on the window because of the width. After that I was able to finish the job by myself. I was amazed by how easy it was to apply. It has helped keep the room cooler during this recent hot spell. I will definitely recommend this product.

1. It needs a good spray bottle(not a cheap one. That hurts your hand if you have big windows) that sprays soapy water continuously with pumping.2. You would need a second person.That second person will make this job SO MUCH easier.3. This product gives you the tools you need(cutter, squeeze).4. You would need to have a sprayer and soapy water, and a scotch tape and.......Read instruction from the window film box.In the pictures, left side is filmed and right side is the original window.It still gives good transparency, but tint is good enough that the room is not hot anymore!Those rooms get brutally hot with the sun during the day, but with this films on, we don't even use blinds anymore.This is an absolutely amazing product.I recommend it to anyone.(You still need to spray lots of soapy water on the window AND on the film before stick it on the window, and squeeze it well to get rid of bubbles).By the way, you stick the film INSIDE of the window. Not outside.Great product.Totally worth the money for brutal Summer heat.Now, I would see if it helps to keep the heat indoor during the Winter.

I have no complaints about the film. It is keeping most of the annoying, hot western sunlight out of my home. You should know, however, that at 15% VLT the sunlight inside the room will be dim (kind of like a cloudy day a couple of hours before the rain arrives). Also, at night, if your interior lights on, you will not be able to see though the tint. I live on an upper floor in a highrise building so this isn't much of an issue. But, closer to the ground, hmm.Unfortunately, I found that the provided application tools and instructions were insufficient. Not terrible, just insufficient for me. In the box was 1 retractable blade "box cutter," and 1 two-inch squeegee (cutter was good, but the squeegee...it's gonna take a long time). If I had to use only these items and my imagination to apply the tint, I would have ended up in a sloppy, frustrating mess.Fortunately, there's an Internet. Before you order ANY film, search Google for "How to Apply Window Film." There is an 8.46 minute YouTube video by "Tap" that I found very helpful. You'll see how to apply the film and exactly which extra tools you'll need--none of which were price above $10.00.Applying the film is not difficult, but it takes patience, and a little practice. If possible, start with a window in the "junk room" and have another pair of hands available--just in case. I give this film 5 stars for ease of use, its mirror like effect and their installation video via QR code. This is my first time installing window tint on my home, I wanted something reflective for privacy and heat deflection but also not too dark so I purchased the level 15 for dual pane windows. The installation video is concise and straightforward that goes step by step. By the 2nd window I had great confidence applying this film. It went smoothly on my dbl hung windows and it was more challenging on some obscure shapes.I was able to get about 6 - 24x20 panes 3 total windows and 3 smaller windows on my front door (pictured) done with a 36in x 12ft roll. I installed this during a raining week which made it easier. (The exterior photos show the reflection properties vs a non applied window)While there were some small artifacts on some windows I think that's more due to learning the process so Im still pleased with the results. So much so I'm ordering a 2nd roll that's 24ft to finish my house. This saved me hundreds $$$ after getting a quote and it was a very satisfying install, if you're on the fence I say give it a try!

I have applied several brands of window film now and consider myself pretty good at it but this film is a pain to install. I only bought this film because it had good reviews and it was one of the few that had the width I needed. It is quite thin, the bubbles couldn’t all be pushed out. I have many spots of imperfections that no matter how hard I tried was very difficult to push out. It also seemed to fully adhere while I was applying it not allowing for much adjustment. I made sure my windows and the film was super wet before applying so I’m pretty sure that’s not the reason. I will say that the edges were super easy to cut so that’s a plus.

As some other customers have noted, I obtained this for (1) Heat reflection, and (2) Light reflection.As such, it has proven to reduce the ambient temperatures around a double-pane window receiving direct sunlight by 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit (variable).The entire room itself, which was one of the only rooms of the house with prolonged full sunlight exposure, was regularly experiencing temperatures 10-15 degrees above the rest of the house.Additionally, it is nice to be able to have a view outside during the day without the neighbors being able to peer directly into the home.Overall, this was a great little home improvement project, as it had a direct and immediate impact on the comfortability of the home, as well as proving to be much less of a complex headache than anticipated. The instructions provided for the installation were accurate and precise...follow them and you will not be disappointed in this product.The photos attached to this review show (1) bottom half of 2 windows tinted, with top halves remaining natural; (2) one remaining top half window as compared to newly tinted surrounding windows; (3) the observed difference at night time, with the view showing a tinted window raised up for a nighttime tinted window versus no tinting comparison.Hope this review is helpful.
