Q: Clasps seem to be a huge problem. Anything to remedy this complaint?

Yes. Buy a different product. The clasps are extremely flimsy. I had to send the first one back because it arrived broken. The clasps on the new one weren't broken but I have no confidence that they will stay that way if they are actually used. They aren't made for the weight of the contents of this "bar", once a bottle of booze is added to it (so what's the point?). If you want to set the thing on a table permanently, it will do fine. If you want to travel with it....no.

Q: Can you tell me the measurements of the glass openings on this? Am looking for a similar unit that will hold copper mugs and not sure if they will fit

I bought different glasses when I gave it as a gift. I waited until I got it to order the right size. My guess is the copper "mule" cups I've seen will be too big.

Q: Are the “glasses” made of glass ( breakable) or a unbreakable polymer like marine style glassware?

The glasses were indeed glass. I actually gave this as a gift and replaced the glasses with two nice cut crystal glasses. Generally, all the appointments in this bar were very nice. My daughter keeps it as a portable bar in her office.

Q: What size is the opening where the glasses are stored? I have some small martini glasses I'd like to use

It is 4 (h) by 3.5 (w). Depth is 3.5 inches.
