So I understand people like big value bags, however I find once I've been drinking these or other similar competitors I grow tired of whichever one I've selected, I think much smaller bags would be an interesting venture, maybe enough for a week or two of shakes, so you're more able to mix and match flavour wise, also they are often very grainy and bitty, if it could be smoother, more milkshake like

I'm so disappointed, the flavour of this (coffee caramel) is absolutely awful. I should have listened to the reviews that said the same. It doesn't taste like coffee or caramel and leaves a very sickly sweet taste in your mouth. I love the other PHD products that I've had in the past though, I'll stick with the normal protein powder in future. Just annoyed that I've wasted my money.

Tastes absolutely foul. I had the coffee caramel and can't finish it. Used double the amount of liquid to try to tone down the overwhelming sweetness and taste of peas, but no improvement sadly. I was trying to save money over other brands, but this will be going in the bin!

This meal replacement shake is really good to use if you're training, slimming or just want to make sure you are keeping on top of your nutrition due to poor eating habits.I'm using this as a meal replacement because I don't have time on a morning for breakfast and this is ideal just to drink on my work commute and I know I will not feel hungry again in an hours time because protein helps with the satiety (full feeling)I use this complete powder in nut milk rather than water to give it a more creamy texture. The powder mixes well in a shaker tumbler and doesn't have lumps or powdery deposits floating, its a nice texture and quite thick too. I have used the powder in a blender and that gives it a super light and fluffy frothy texture which is my preferred choice but I detest washing up so rarely do my mixes this way. I use the PhD complete powder as a complete meal rather than a treat or snack.Very happy with this product, its ingredients, its price and it's ease of use and I would like to try the rest of the flavours too.

What PhD always hit right on the head is nutritional content. You can't fault this shake as a meal replacement / healthy lifestyle supplement. It's high in protein, low in pretty much everything else (particularly sugar / sat fat), and has the benefit of added vitamins and minerals too.They've also developed a knack of making vegan protein content taste actually very nice. When vegan powders started coming on the market en masse a few years ago, flavour was really hit and miss. With this one, you can't tell that it's not dairy whey. It has a full texture, and is gloriously thick and creamy. It froths up a treat with some plant milk in a blender (which, by the way, is the best way to prepare it - it doesn't mix very smoothly in a hand shaker). The caramel coffee flavour is really lush and not over-sweet, which is often a problem with confectionery flavours, I find. This one is actually really appetising and 'treaty' - think coffee-flavoured Revel. It also has a slightly grainy texture too, which adds to the filling nature of it.As so often with these preparations, I think a bit of experimentation is required with the water/milk-powder ratio to get the taste you require. I'm not keen on it with water alone, but mixing water with almond milk gives a really tasty blend.All in all a great, rounded meal replacement or sports shake.

Do we still need these things? there must be billions in landfillThe bag opening is to small for big hands so the powder spills every time, thankfully it's not white otherwise questions would be asked....Sadly can't taste the coffee just the over sickly sweetener and pea protein.Oh well nevermind.
