Very happy with this door
Unfortunately, I had to hire 2 handymen to install this barn door. Although I am a handy person so to speak, this is a 2 man job for the installation. The instructions for the installation and putting the door together (the door comes in pieces, not already put together) is a little confusing however if you take the time to review everything step-by-step you can install the door. It is very important that you that you hire someone who is very good with measurements and make sure they have a leveler in order to ensure that the door smoothly opens and closes once you have the door installed. I have a small home and I thought that the door would dwarf the wall and living room, however that is not the case. I get compliments on this door left and right. I will be staining the extra pinewood that needed to be installed in order to accommodate the weight and stability of the door itself. This is only because I have an existing pocket door in the wall that the door was installed on. I am above and beyond happy with the outcome, and the visually stunning look of the barn door on my wall. I would recommend this purchase for anyone. Definitely a fun and worthwhile investment.

Cool door
This is a really cool looking door. How are the holes did not line up correctly and it was really a pain in the butt to assemble. Once we got it up it looks and works great.

Beautiful doors
We bought two of these doors to hang in our new home. They are beautiful. The instructions were lacking but we figured it out. Love how it adds to the character of the room.

Thumbs Down!!
Instructions are horrible. The holes for the handle & Roller are not pre drilled. And the holes that are pre drilled for the plank assembly do not line up.

Holes do not line up.
The holes do not line up. I will have to ream out 5 holes to make this work. Three of the holes are not even close and I hope I can bore them out enough without making it visible once the semi-circle knobs are on. Also the instructions are worthless.

Terrible assembly directions
The holes didn't line up, but I was still able to get it together. The assembly directions are terrible. Probably the worst I've ever received with any product.
