This is a follow up review!Works well but doesn't hold gear well took apart changed plastic friction washer replaced with small cut of fuel line about the same size,holds gear perfectly now. (Does not require as much tightening now)They need to replace friction wash to something softer with more friction and beef up bracket so the tension screw doesn't rip out of bracket, I broke one of the shifters pulled center nut out trying to get enough friction to hold gear and had to repair by brazing back together.

Rebuilt a vintage Dura Ace EX hub with these. Cones perfect, races a bit worn but not pitted. Used premium DA grease. With these ball bearings the hub ran rough, no matter how I adjusted it. Stripped out these balls and put in PGN real Grade 25 balls instead and the hub bearings are now silky smooth. These balls are basically cheap junk for use on a low end bicycle or for other miscellaneous uses. Too much trouble to return a relatively low cost item, so will try to find another low grade use for these.

These are working without issue for the rear wheel and bottom bracket of my 1984 Miyata 310.

Used to rebuild some casters, and I wasnt sure what size I needed so got this multipack. Which was a good thing because my casters had 2 different sized bearings on top and bottom.

This is a great kit to have on hand if you work on your own bike
