Strong tool, the pulling adapter didn't fit on the hub of my chevy cobalt, so i had to made one. But everything look ok. The hub was stuck as hell (i broke the bearing in 2 part with this puller).

So glad I bought this! Works for 5x100 Subaru Hubs (and many other things)
I finally got around to buying a slide hammer after running into a number of situations in automotive repairs where I thought to myself "jeeze, I wish I had a slide hammer". Such situations usually involve needing to remove something that requires some degree of impacting force to budge. Enter the slide hammer. So far I've used this thing twice: once when removing a crankshaft sprocket from a Subaru and the other when removing a bolt-in hub/bearing assembly from the same Subaru. Anyone who has done either of these jobs in a rusty area knows that more often than not, these things are pretty well stuck in place and require some careful prying, wiggly, PB-blasting and a touch of voodoo magic to remove.... or just a slide hammer. For the crank sprocket I tapped threads into the two holes, threaded in a couple bolts/washers and used the "H" shape adapter included in this pulley set between the bolts. A couple whacks and the sprocket came off no problemo. No concerns about damaging the crank snout either. For the bolt-in hub/bearing assembly, as another reviewer stated the included hub adapter is not a direct fit to a 5x100 hub. However, I was able to easily make it work without ANY modification to the attachment simply by using a single open-ended lugnut on one stud and regular lugnuts on the other studs, wedging the attachment in place. I've attached a photo of this setup. A couple whacks with the slide hammer and the rusty HBA came right out, easy peasy.Save your future self some headaches and buy this thing!
