No good for corned beef
Splendid for soft meats like luncheon meat - but not much use for cold corned beef (cold so it will cut...)broke when trying to slice corned beef but was easily repaired. OK, but it has its limitations.Fine for what I usually need - just not for the corned beef.So not a negative review. I just haven't found a more suitable cutter for corned beef.Edit: pulling the slicer towards you keeps the grid from jumping out from the hinges at the back.

while i like the product and it makes getting same size pieces i would say the wires are a bit to far apart but then again some people like thick cut , i think half the thickness would be better you can not use it in sandwiches without having a doorstop lol
