Best for pet hair and general use
Since I have arthritis I've had trouble pushing an upright vacuum. The beater bar and filter gets clogged and I spend more time cleaning the vacuum than cleaning the house. This Porter Cable vac is light, easy to move around and has powerful suction. I have several dogs and dog hair is a constant and this unit sucks it all up, even spider webs and never clogs and uses a bag that's easy to replace. Been using it for 3 years and with the bag there's a triple filtration so never anything coming back out of the exhaust. I've gone through several uprights but this is the best for my situation and best overall.

Best vacuum brand
This this sucks!!! And it sucks very well.Compact easy to use and has tornado sucking powers. I love this shop vac perfect for my pet filled home!!

Wonderful little shop vac.
It never occurred to me I could love a little shop vac but I love this one. Very strong suction. Caddy holds the attachments. Has blow hole as well as vacuum hole for hose. Rolls easily on wheels, but light to carry when necessary. Very happy with price. I'd hoped for something smaller, but probably couldn't get these nice features if it were, and it fits well enough in corner of closet.I'm using it in the house, not the shop, where it would be fine, too.

Good value shop vacuum
Good sized little vac for what I needed it for. The suction is actually a lot better than I thought it'd be, it's pretty powerful. Easy to clean, wish the filters were easier to install but it's a good vacuum.

Super helpful
So I’m not a cleaner. I want it to be clean, but (we are going to leave it at that). My floors get so yucky-chunky that my cute useful vacuum cannot handle it. This little shop vac did the heavy lifting. I was able to use it to “broom” my carpets before I used the suck and fluff vacuum. It’s the results I needed with out the dry broom method on carpet which is far less effective than I thought. This little guy is awesome. I love how light and easy it is to roll from carpet to tile to sofa to back porch to stairs. This little guy is very helpful. Can I say how much I love the bag? I know we are all into these canisters but gross! Pet hair to split litter to bits of I don’t want to know, the bag means I don’t have to touch the things that I didn’t want to touch in the first place (or my shame of having not picked it up in the first place). I love that the bag easy to pull out and dump. I live in a newer house that has plugs everywhere, so the cord length is fine. I have sucked up damp stuff and dry stuff and the bag held together. I used it for my whole not clean house and only used one bag. Would recommend this vacuum.

Terrible vacuum
This vacuum has never worked properly. We have tried multiple different filters and nothing helps. It blows so much dust out the back whenever we are vacuuming with it. It literally defeats the point of vacuuming. I have heard to use the filter bags which are like the old vacuum bags like my grandma used to have. To me that defeats the point of having it be a wet/dry vacuuming. If I could return it, I would but it’s been too long if us trying to make it work.
