Better than old clunky filter
Good price, fairly quiet, happy fish.

Great filter, unfortunately I recieved the smaller one.
It works, its just unfortunate it wasnt the size i ordered. Need to check the dimension before you install it.

Great for fry/shrimp tanks or as alternative to air stone
This is the perfect size for any very small fry or shrimp tanks or even as an alternative to an air stone. If you hate the static noise sound from using an airstone ect, this little sponge filter is the perfect with the extra benefit of building up beneficial bacteria in your aquarium. You do get very slightly bigger bubbles, but a very gentle flow of them without the horrible sound. It really is not suitable for any thing bigger though, unless you size up. Always research appropriate fish care for the fish type you choose to keep and then get the appropriate set up and filter. I got this to use alongside a HOB filter for extra gas exchange so it was ideal in my nano tank for that purpose instead of an air stone. Easy to assemble, but better to use a regular hose line to comet it up, and you will also need your own check valve and air pump.

Good filter
Good filter so far, seems to be doing the job! Cheap and cheerful for my fry tank! Keeps water clear and is pretty quiet!

Bubbles too big, doesn't sink.
I modified mine to improve how it works.I cut out the central part of what they call the basket. Made a hole near the bottom of the lower basket. Put a small air stone on the air tube and pushed it up to the top basket. Much smaller bubbles coming out.To make it sink I cut about 2inches off the bottom of a small plastic drink bottle (kid's size), The filter just pushes inside it. I put some small gravel in the bottom then. Drilled a few holes in the drink bottle bottom.It now draws water through the sponge and the drink bottle. And good small bubbles from the top.Much better.

It's good but very very small sponge
If you are looking for a sponge filter for a tiny tank/bowl this is a good option because its tiny. I have it in a 12 gallon Betta tank but also have a hang on back sponge filter with really slow flow. On its own its probably not big enough my tank

Great little filter pump
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my newly hatched fry, and it’s keeps the water clear. Cheap price also.The only issue is that I can’t seem to find the replacement sponges.You will need a pump for it.

Per bocce piccole funziona benissimo
L'ho preso per una boccia da 5 lt in cui tengo le palorbella in esubero ed in effetti l'acqua è molto limpida. Non ha materiale per batteri ma ho messo sul fondo un po' di cannolicchi ed un anforetta in ceramica che qualche battere lo fanno proliferare.

Produit correct fais son job, longueur du tube assez long,Attention par contre vendu uniquement comme sur la photo, il faut rajouter un bulleur pour compléter le tout.
