BranditCombat Backpack Flecktarn Camo

decent
Decent backpack but less space in it than you would think. Little narrow but deep. Doesn't take much for clothes to fill it up but if you are humping items around should be good. Company itself is less than great. If you want to return it don't bother they will give you so little you are better off trying to sell it yourself. Crooks. Got 8.99 out of 79.99 that i paid for a camo outfit that the sizing was not good on. Wayyy smaller than what other companies size their products IE if you wear a 2x shirt, their 2x would be a medium....that far off. They would be better off saying no returns than insulting you with 8 bucks. Ridiculous and bad business

This bag is very tough, best value out there!
I just received this bag and was shocked that for $38 this thing is as sturdy and tough as any of my Snugpak Bergen’s, but 1/4th the cost!First of all, so surprised at how tough the nylon Cordura is! Reminds me of the toughness of a GI issued ACU Molle Large rucksack for toughness!Next, for me the size is perfect. I have a large 100L Snugpak Bergen I love. But often for a day hike or 3 day hike it is too big and overkill if I just want to knock out 20-30 miles a day on the trail. I also have a BW Mountain rucksack at 25L that I also love but doesn’t have enough room for food on a three day hike. This tough brandit bag fills the niche. Is about a 60L bag. Rides high which I like as I usually hike alone in dense mountain lion territory where lions preferred method of attack on lone hikers would be from behind to go straight for the neck. This pack rides high discouraging a mountain lion and giving me peace of mind. Throw a foam ground roll or sleeping bag on top, and is the perfect safer block as w sleeping bag on top, this bags hileight almost as tall as the top of my head. Note, there are very useful sleeping bag straps on the top of the pack. This pack, though very spacious at 60-65 liters is probably best at a max of 40-50 lbs since it doesn’t have the most robust shoulder and him straps for heavier loads. However the shoulder pads and just a strap around your waist are well more than adequately comfortable if you keep it at 40-50 lbs. again, this my pack for three day fast hikes, so fits the niche perfect. For $38, which I paid in January of 2019, this has got to be the best military hiking pack out the short Olof getting something used and surplus GI issued. I love GI surplus tough gear, but is kind of nice for a change to get something new!!!!

Cheap, but good
For the money, couldn't beat the storage space. A little tricky to tie a sleeping bag on to. The stitching isn't great, but if you get yourself a needle and strong repair thread from a local sewing store, you should be able to fix anything that happens. I've only had one strap pop off this summer. It works for me, as I have more time than money. (And for all I know the more expensive brands would have popped when I was pulling on it as well. I'll probably never know. :)

Good for the price
This is a very good rucksack, it has a good amount of space, there is no back support or any kind of frame, the biggest bucket is not connected to the lower pocket as the original design. Some seams are poorly stiched

Value
Excellent value for the money. Needed a medium sized pack for my kids do overnight hikes - these were just the right capacity and adjustable for their small frames.

Great backpack
Love it carries a lot of stuff with room to spare, the zippers on the bottom pouch get stuck sometimes but it not a problem to get the loose. Great for those who are bushcrafters, hunters, or nomads

Did not survive first pack.
Rucksack arrived on time. Postage, packaging and delivery time were spot on, no issues there. However, I transferred the items from my smaller, existing rucksack to this new larger 65 litre capacity rucksack full of anticipation that everything will fit inside. As I pulled the toggle of the top liner to finish packing it, the top liner pulled away from the top of the rucksack. It did not survive the first packing. Never mind a full weekend of rigorous adventure and fun. Total rip off (literally) waste of money and another cheap tacky import. It’s a good job the British Army doesn’t rely on equipment as poor as this. Shocking disappointment.

Perfect
This backpack is surprisingly comfortable for short and long distances considering the price. You can also fit a lot of things in it and it has a lot of options to customize it to your liking. Would 100% recommend. Satisfied
