Pressman Who Wants to Be a Millionaire

My husband and I really enjoy this board game. We are always in search of fun games that only two can play, since our kids are too young to join in on board games. Who Wants to be a Millionaire board game is easy to learn and play, challenging in its trivia (but not too hard, that it makes playing impossibly difficult), and a great way to spur conversation and healthy competition between players. We have also played this board game with my parents-in-law and had a lot of fun playing 4-person. They are significantly older than us, yet still had fun as well and did better than us on most of the rounds of play! It can be hard to find a trivia game that spans generations, but this one does!Packaging was perfect, all pieces were there and in perfect condition! Such a fun game, I can't find anything negative to say about it.

As board game adaptations go, this is one of the best yet. The game comes with 5 little card consoles, with a window for the question, the 4 possible answers, a hole on the back to show the host the answer, and four orange sliding slats. They're very attractive, and excellent quality. The host uses it to show other players the question, and the other players use their consoles to indicate their answers. The lifelines differ from the show slightly, but are designed such that a player will never necessarily get screwed over by someone with bad intentions.The one thing I'd recommend is to get the show's soundtrack and use that along with the game. It's a regular feature of our sessions and you would not believe how much it adds to the atmosphere.

I bought as an educational aid for the english classes I give, and has beeing very useful, even for may family and friends meetings. If you are buying this game from another country, keep in mind this is an american version, so some easiest questions ($100) could probably be totally unknow for you. For example a very popular children's song in the US, is totally unknown in latin american countries. For my english classes for begginers and intermediate u work only with questions for $100 and $200. If you are more into the computers world, get the CD-Rom version for PC. It will give you fun even playing alone since it is against the clock.

Part of the box had been cut and the shrink wrap was pulled back from one corner. Gues I should have read past the Like New heading. It was a gift so I would not have bought it if I had realized the box was messed up. False advertising! Not happy at all.
