The Dark Bite (Vampire Hunter Society Book 1)

Good story. Hunter in a cult like society has her world turned upside down from the moment she decides to save a vampire who saved her first. That ending was too much. Too many things happened and too much information unloaded and then bam over. Can't wait to read what happens next.

Holy guacamole, I've been in such a reading slump, nothing has been able to really hold my interest until this book! It hooked me from the very beginning, and with nonstop action, it held me until the very last page!This is the first book I've read by Leia Stone, I've seen her work floating around Instagram (especially when this cover was revealed a while ago) and after this book I'm definitely a fan! I can't wait to check out her other works!This book has so many twists and turns that I honestly didn’t see any of them coming! So many bombs were dropped, especially at the end and you feel everything the main character is feeling! My mind was blown as everything was coming to light, I'm so excited for the next book! Thankfully I don't have to wait too long for it! Seriously, if you love slow burn romances, vampires, worlds crumbling, and need something fresh to read then this is the book for you! Wowza!!

I think the series is complete, so I’m not bothered by the cliffhanger; KU makes it so easy to start reading the next book. Lots of twists and turns and a different take on vampires. Looking forward to the next in the series.

It's a fast read, because you can't put it down. Loved getting sucked back into Demi & Sawyer's world! This is one of my favorite series. Especially because it's not just all one species. I love the fighting more. The forbidden love stories. So Aspen is so naive in this. However, if you grew up in the hunter society you probably would be too. I love how Aspen's mind works. Once she finds out a truth she's like a dog with a bone. Luka is as delicious as ever. Sexy, sweet, polite, playful and considerate. He always asks first with Aspen. He's a hero vampire with a soul. And together they are like the fireworks in Washington, DC on July 4th. Loved seeing Sawyer, Demi, Sage, Bennett & Walsh again. I can't wait for book 2 especially with the way this ended.

I’m blown away by the storyline building in this first book. Aspen (FMC) Vampire Hunter and a total kickbutt, has her world turned on its head in this book. Everything she thought she knew was a lie and now lives are on the line. Luka (MMC) Vampire Prince wants the crown, but in an unusual twist of events his life hinges on Aspen’s help. This PNR hooks you with its characters and world, and keeps you in suspense. Slow burn tension between Aspen and Luka is so good. I loved this book and recommend it with its low spice. I feel that may change as the series continues. I’m really anxious to see where this storyline goes and what’s to come in the next book. 4.5/Stars

If you read our beloved author's WOLF GIRL series , then I highly suggest checking out this spin off series!! You might even see a cameo or two from a beloved character or two from the that original series 😉.Once more we're treated to an amazing main female character. She's strong, independent, loyal, and trusting to a fault. That might just be put to the ultimate test very soon. All may not be what she's always been led to believe on her war against vampires. Filled with amazing characters, a rich world, witty dialogue, alpha males, awesome females and just plain brilliant writing...it will.leave you cheering and jeering at certain points, and most DEFINITELY wanting the nextin this series!!

Aspen has felt like her life was a for ordained gift from God. She was a righteous vampire killer working for the good of mankind. Until she meets a vampire mark that saves her life....now she has no idea what to believe. The characters are easy to sink into, and share their adventure from start to finish, feeling like you've left your own world for there's for a time. I only hope for more details with each book as the characters grow. If I'd of read this without the wolf alpha series, I'd be lost.

This is an interesting spinoff series that has some potential. I'm interested in reading more but so far it's not as good as the original series.

I liked the beginning, it established the main characters and the direction of the story well, Then she flips everything over, well done. I am looking forward to the next book.

Looking for a new book I came across this title by Leia Stone and I was totally enthralled by it. There are everything you look for in a story: enemies to lovers, secrets to unveil, plots, a bit of romance, deceptions, and a lot of action. The characters are wonderful - the good and evil ones and I’m eager to know what will come next.

I absolutely love the chemistry in this book. The story grabs you and sucks you in till the end. I am off to book 2.

I enjoyed reading it I couldn't put it down ! Can't wait to read the next book ! I'll take alook the other author's book!

Fantastic book to read the story line has been outstanding and very unexpected happenings through out this book, the characters are unpredictable and the story builds and unfolds with unexpected changes that completely mess with the suspense, action friendship that aspen and Leia have with Luca. Fantastic writings from Leia stone.
