I love this spin off from wolf girl and getting to read more of Luca's story. Aspen is a proud hunter dedicated to the cause, with aspirations of becoming a senior hunter. One night changes everything for her when a royal vampire saves her life. Adobe is left reeling when she learns that their brief encounter will tie them together in a way neither of them could have ever imagined. As Adobe battled with the only way of life and truth she has ever known, and she grows closer to Luca she is left shattered when her world implodes. Leaving behind the only life she has ever known she must now put her trust in the very beings she has spent her life hunting.Brilliant story from Stone. I couldn't put the book down. I loved seeing many of my favourite characters from wolf girl and I am looking forward to the next book, especially with the arrival of an unexpected associate of Luca's.

5** as added to my ever growing list of books I will reread by Leia StoneI knew this was a spin off from wolf girl (you don't have to read them but you really should as they are amazing). So I was expecting a good story (it is Leia Stone) but thought I may miss the main wolf girl characters.But I didn't, I loved all the new characters, Luka is developed & definitely more in touch with his feelings than Aspen. Even Sterling grew on me through the book. Can't wait for book 2, I just want to know what happens next as I loved the story so much. I wouldn't describe the ending as a cliff hanger.

Nope not happening you can't end it like that I mean how dare youuuuuu, I was starting to like luka then you added that ending I mean grrrrrrrrrr how dare youuuu,I cried and laughed and was so happy now I'm damn right outraged lol.This book follows a brilliant vampire hunter whos life turns to hell when she saves a gorgeous vampire but the vampire is the only good thing as the hunters walls tumble round her.

This book was phenomenonal. Great start to a exciting series and I absolutely love it! I'm not that into Vampire stories and the start was kind of slow for me. But it got going by chapter 3 and got VERY interesting.What I love about LEIA is that she gets supernatural characters and puts her own unique spin on it that's different and golden! I love her for doing that AND this book.Highly recommend

I have been so excited for Luka’s story since we met him in Sawyer’s. Yes technically it’s Aspen’s story and her POV but I can deal for Luka.Really enjoyed the nature of this story and how blended it became with real world issues despite being paranormal. It’s well written with great characters, that twist at the end...Gah!Can’t wait to read book two.

When Rose meets Luka everything changes as so much happens like dark ones trying to kill Luka and Rose end up giving blood to Luka as he save her life and with that a bound is there as than head each other through and takes them by surprise and goes on Rose grows to love Luka

Vampires have always been a weakness for me so to see that luca had his own books was a bonus again lots of twists to this book nice to see the old characters pop up also , very well written definitely a book to go on your to be read list .

Cliffhanger alert! This book ends on one, though not the worst one I’ve ever seen. It was a good start and I enjoyed most of it but super religious people just put me off. I’m also struggling with the naïveté of the hunter characters.
