First off, I'd like to mention that brown rice is technically not ideal for diabetic people (that means, it's better than the white rice, but not as great as red rice). However, it is okay to have brown rice in medium quantities along with gluten-free rotis (for a diabetic patient).About the product - I ordered 4 bottles for my father and the package was delivered at the expected time. As per him, the rice was really nice and great in taste! He enjoys it more than red rice or white rice. I would recommend this brand for all those who want to explore new ways of cutting off carbs from the diet, even if it is a bit less.

Packing is poor. Taste is not that good. I have used India Gate brown rice earlier that was too good in taste an value for money as well.

It is really ordinary brown rice but taste great compared to other Brown Rice product. It has nothing to do with weight loss ability of course, that is just a sale gimmick :)We order 16 kg in one shot ....so as to never run out.Price is good ! We are very happy to have this healthy version of rice to eat !By the way makes great Biryani !

I will be writing cons below as there are no pros.1. Upon opening the bottles old rice odour came. Like ration rice. Pretty sure that isnt close to normal basmati rice too.2. The rice doesnt taste good either.3. Takes longer to cook.4. Lot of colour comes off the rice.Check shrilalmahal website product catalogue they have no brown basmati fitness rice under its description.Please check from your local dealers than rather checking on amazon when it comes to food items for consumption. Cause recently it has been found that some sellers repackage expired goods with new dates of manufacture and expiry and make huge profit by selling such dubuous items under the label of health and fitness.Jago Grahak Jago!!
