Spalding Women's 7-Inch Bike Short

Love, love, love these shorts. I've had two pairs of these since March and they've been worn/washed frequently. Compared to a pair of (very similar) Danskin bike shorts which I also own, Spalding's shorts are softer, stretchier, and have a more secure hidden vertical pocket down the inside of the left leg; great for sticking in a debit card and a cellphone when you're on the go and can't take a handbag. Danskin's cotton knit for bike shorts are thicker and don't dry out as quickly as Spalding's do, which is a huge downside if you're wearing them in a hot, wet climate (like mine). They also don't ride up, and the waist band is smooth, soft elastic!TL;DR-- Spalding's shorts are softer, dry quicker, have more practical hidden pockets, and won't shrink even after months of washing and wear. Overall: 10/10!

Love These Bike Shorts!!! I had not worn these in a while, so apologies on the late review. SOOO comfortable, they look good on and wash up in the washing machine really well. I bought these to wear under some dresses and skirts, but ended up wearing them to bed and as regular shorts around the house.Great material and flattering for a bike short. I just wanted a simple, active wear pair of shorts to use while visiting Disney. Since you do a lot of walking and it was summer, I figured it would be the most comfortable thing to do--which it was! I'm 5'3", 135 pounds with 36" hips and I purchased a Medium. It fits well, and of course since it's spandex, it allows a little more breathing room if that were to change!

Spalding is my go to brand for this type of short and all my workout capris and leggings. They always fit well and last a long time. The sizing is very accurate. I wear an extra large in most workout bottoms and these are spot on.

I bought these shorts before, they were in my previous order list, but they are not the same as they used to be. When I purchased before the shorts were all cotton, very nice breathable, not see through material. The new ones I recieved are not cotton and are see through. They fit well, the waist band is nice and wont roll and the legs do not ride up. I'm just disappointed with the material.

These shorts seem well made but like many other workout shorts I find the seam at the bottom of the thigh is tighter that the rest of the short creating an indention in my leg. They fit me fine but that tight seam just made them look terrible and made me not feel strong and confident like you should when you work out, no matter your size.

These fit great and are comfortable. Will buy again

The product description says "92% Cotton/8% Spandex" but the shorts they sent have no cotton in them. The tag says "88% polyester/12% elastane". I returned the shorts and tried ordering again thinking it was a mistake, but both times they were not cotton shorts.

Súper cómodo y me queda muy bien. Aunque después de algunos usos se pone un poco más "flojito" pero en general es una excelente compra.

I was looking for something I can wear under a dress. Didn't have a high expectation but turned out to be perfect for me. It's not thin but not too thick, just perfect to keep my legs warm on a cool summer day and they stay in place, no riding up. Wish they have other colors like beige or skin color. Not sure these would work as a bike shorts but serves my purpose.

I ordered these shorts because I have a pair of Spalding leggings. I specifically ordered these shorts because I like the 92% cotton material, which is the composition of the leggings. The size L, which I ordered the first time was too large, so I went down to M. This is more appropriate to my size, as I am 5'5" and 125lbs. Well, imagine my disappointment when I received not a 92% cotton pair of bicycle shorts but rather a pair made completely of elastane. They were like super-Spanx. I couldn't even get the waistband over my (rather slender) thighs. I have no idea how or why these shorts are advertised as being 92% cotton because it's a big fat lie. Now I get the pleasure of returning the product during COVID. Thanks, Amazon. Thanks, Spalding.
