Wonderful when you know how to use it!
Most recent updates written at the bottom.Detailed review ahead! I have been doing my own powder dip nails for about 7 months and I have been using Kiara Sky products for most of that time. They are fabulous products once you know how to use them well. The most important tips I have learned are below.1) LOOK UP THE COLOR ONLINE FIRST! This is by far the most important thing I have learned. Many of the colors look very different in real life than the tiny color swatch shown on Amazon or even the Kiara Sky website. I found this out the hard way with a very bright pink color I probably would not buy again! If you look at Kiara Sky's Instagram account or Google Images you can usually tell how the colors actually look when they are on. I have provided pictures of the colors that I own in direct and indirect sunlight for reference. I also highly recommend buying plastic nail sticks to test the color on before you use them on your own nails. They are very cheap and are good for reference when people ask what colors you have.2) Watch YouTube tutorials for tips and take it slow. There are many details that take time to perfect if you are a beginner like I was. Specifically, being careful to not get powder on the skin around the nail or too close to the cuticle is something that you wouldn't necessarily think about at first but makes a huge difference in the overall visual appeal and longevity of the nail. Watching as many videos as you can to get tips about little things like that really helps.3) Build your supplies over time! Buying your own nail supplies is an expensive investment however worth it in the long run in my opinion. There are products you don't need in order to get started that you may want to invest in over time in order to make your manicure look more professional. The three products that I invested in that I believe make the largest difference would be a nail drill, a get top coat, and an LED light. A drill helps both with putting your nails on as well as taking them off. I bought a $20 drill on amazon that came with plenty of attachments as well as a manicure set. This is helpful to drill down your nails before you put your top coat on so they do not become too thick and it helps to get the top coat off when it is time to soak them off. A gel top coat and LED light make a huge difference in the overall appearance and is one of the things I most highly recommend investing in when you have the money. They ensure your manicure has a beautiful shine which lasts for weeks. I bought the Sparkle and Co. top coat and the SUNUV nail lamp and love them both.In short, Kiara Sky products are very well made and I would highly recommend them! They take some time to perfect but overall they are wonderful.UPDATE 3/25/2020: It has now been over a year and a half that I have been using Kiara Sky products to do my own nails at home. I can truly say that you only get better at doing your nails with this product over time. The more you practice, the better your nails look. My nails now look consistently professional and I get compliments all the time. I have also started doing my family’s and friends nails when I have time to save them money. My mother used to go to the salon every three weeks and has not gone in over a year since I do them for her now. The startup cost can be high- however given the time that I have used this kit, I have no doubt saved hundreds of dollars for both myself and my family by doing them at home rather than going to a salon every two/three weeks. These nails also stay on 3+ weeks which makes them low maintenance.I have added new pictures of colors I have purchased since my initial review. On these new colors you can see a number written in sharpie on the bottom of the container. I use these numbers to match the container with the plastic sample stick. I highly recommend doing some kind of system like this if you do end up buying colors which are similar to one another so that you can tell them apart.Overall- I still love them! Don’t give up if you are still learning, you will get better!

Dark, but pretty
The color is quite dark, but I still like it a lot. Love this brand of nail supplies, especially their dips.

Victorian Iris D483
Powder is nice and fine and dips pretty smooth. Hasn’t been long enough to speak for longevity. This is 2 coats, and the exact deep red I was wanting.

I would like a little darker mauve but this is very pretty. Will continue to explore colors of this brand

i love it!
Update 5/6: The white is “frosted sugar” it has a pretty sparkle to it like snow. It’s more sheer then i’d like but it’s pretty!UPDATE 4/15: I now have chit chat & time for a selfie on. I’m in love with chit chat!this color is gorgeous! I took one photo in sunlight and another inside. I also have on my ring finger “time for a selfie”. I have multiple colors of dip from kiara sky and I take them to my salon because it’s more sanitary then using the salons dip. They last me three weeks and for somebody who has super sensitive skin they don’t make me break out. I will update as I use more of my colors!

Neon
I live this brand, the powder is super fine so it lays really smooth. Not lumpy. I am returning it tho cause this "caution" is more of a bright neon orange rather then a Halloween/pumpkin orange. Not what I was expecting. Would be a good shade for summer tho..

Not Uniform- Comes Out Looking Marbled
The color itself (Busy As A Bee) is nice, but there's some flaw with the KS pastel puple dip powders that once you buff them, it damages the uniform nature of the color, leaving a splotchy or marbled look- which are the buff marks- you can see this in the picture below (the pinky finger has top coat & the other finger nails dont). No matter how much you buff smooth or reapply another coat- you Will see those unsightly white buff marks on this color!!I tried one test nail (not pictured) without buffing and the color came out nice and uniform, so if you can dip perfectly without needing to buff at all, it will look nice- but that's unrealistic as being a dip powder, you will most likely need to buff them to get a smooth finish!I dont recommend this or any other KS pastel purple dip powder, as I saw other people had the same issue with other pastel purples.BTW, WHEN YOU POST COMMENTS, PLEASE PUT THE "NAME" OF THE COLOR YOU'RE REVIEWING, SO THOSE OF US WHO READ THE COMMENTS KNOW WHAT COLOR YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!

Not as described.
Different color than as described, and shows up different colors on different nails. But the powder was good quality, very fine and easily buildable.

Colour was not what I was expecting...
The product works as intended and arrived as described (brand new), but the image colour (compared to the colour received) is vastly different. This colour is more a very dark purple/plum colour. It appears to be a bright purple in the container, but when applied is very dark. Tip: Google image the colour of the dip power prior to purchase.
