The devil in this case, either the MOOST engineer who calculated the measurements required for the design or the person in charge of quality assurance. When placing my Apple Pencil in the base to charge, it is clear that the fit is imperfect. The Pencil wobbles slightly & no matter how long I left it on charge, it always came out with less of a charge than before. After investing, I discovered that the charger was removable and it charged just fine without the base in the way of the connector. Either way, reading down through other comments, it’s clear that this little devil is A-OK with the manufacturer. Which is too bad, as a slight modification to the manufacturing process (i.e. machine the depth inside the base a few more millimeters) & they would stand a much better chance of having 5 stars across the board.Until then, the MOST we’re gonna get out of MOOST is a hunk of metal, 2 screws, & an aftermarket Apple Pencil charger.If only we all had access to a machining tool, the things we could do...

On the plus side, it is convenient. On the minus side, it does not have an LED light or make a sound to indicate you have a solid connection. For that reason, I have inserted the pencil for an overnight charge only to discover the next day that the pencil was not fully inserted and, consequently, not recharged, of course. That's the only reason I gave it four stars.

Hit or miss with this one.Actual frame of device is CNC’d so super sturdy but it is really just a shell to hold charging cord in a certian way so pencil is upright. Not sure if the one I got had a bad cord (standard cord so I can probably just buy another and replace ) but charging is hit or miss and the Apple Pencil doesn’t have any way to tell if it’s charging so you have a 50/50 chance of a charge.

Stopped working after 5 weeks, nice concept though. Just learned that you can see the charge of your Apple Pencil using the battery widget. Definitely not charging my pencil anymore when my Apple charger in the same USB port works fine.

The charging cable stopped working after a few days, so I went back to the old charging cable and took the cable out of this base. Any charging base should have an LED indicator showing that it is on, charging, that the charge is full…something.

This solid pen holder has a nice heft in the hand, a small footprint on the desk, and charges my Apple Pencil in an acceptable amount of time. The cap holder, though seemingly gimmicky has proved quite useful in practice.

Excellent charger and great addition to help keep the pencil charged. Wish it had an indicator light to let you know when it's fully charged but that's just be being picky. It does what it's meant to do with no problems.

Pros: it charges your apple pencil while not taking up much space on your desk.Cons: if you plug this into your laptop and try to charge your apple pencil, it won't work because there isn't enough power and the % stays at the same value as it was when you originally plugged in. It can stay on 25% for hours. Kind of annoying.
