G-Shock Men's GBD200 Square Case Watch Black

The media could not be loaded. I bought this watch simply because I hate charging my old smartwatch. Also the waterproof features and clean look really sold me. I’ve had this watch for a couple of days now and I absolutely love it. It connects to my phone very well, no issues whatsoever with Bluetooth. The screen is easy to read and after a little bit of learning the menu isn’t too hard to navigate. I will say though that the included instructions were all in a different language so I had to find a manual online, which was not a big deal. All in all I am very happy with this watch, great bang for your buck, feels high quality and not too light to where it feels like cheap plastic and is amazing for daily use and tracking workouts. Highly recommend!!

The media could not be loaded. My wrist is small and the watch looks perfect, it does not look bulky. The visibility is great, I can always read the numbers even if it is a sunny day or underwater.The lighting works ok, whenever it is too dark it lights enough to read the time.I think it is a great watch, it is exactly what I was looking for: a basic watch, easy to read the numbers, tough enough to handle involuntary hits against objects/walls and that I can use for during my swimmings and/or when I go to beach. Also, I don't need to worry about having to recharge it like a smartwatch. It is a great watch, I love it.

Well I need to revise my initial reaction. It has become my favorite watch. You have to tilt it the right way to get the best out of the display, but I find that I now do that it instinctively. At the right angle the display is very good. The more I wear this watch the more I like it. It's comfortable and robust to the point that I'm never worried about it. The strap is quite good. And the illumination when tilted function is quite helpful indoors. The buttons are easy to press. I don't use the smart functions as the app is cumbersome. But the reason I got this watch was in part an escape from the Tamagotchi-like relationship with the iWatch so that's fine. Having something that doesn't need to be charged every day feels like a luxury. I do wish there was a stronger anti reflective coating on the watch transparency but other than that, this is a wonderful watch.In the last find I'm going to keep my review below and my initial reactionI just got this yesterday. I had been looking forward to this so much but the reality is a let down. So far the display, the main reason I bought this watch, is disappointing. Unless a very bright light is shining on it, the display is, at least to my eyes, dim. I have to tilt the watch at a precise angle just to see it. At any other angle, it looks like the pictures attached. As you can see, even the smaller which embossed "G Shock" lettering is easier to read than the numerals of the display itself. Worse, the glass is clearly not anti-glare, so that reflections out-compete the display. I will take the advice of "Before you decide if you like it, wear it outside". But I'm not keen on a watch whose display is so underwhelming indoors . I wonder if mine is defective. I may return this one and see if another one is better. (I should add that I'm Working Mom's husband, hence the arm hair).

I love the display. It's the biggest reason I upgraded from the classic dw5600. There are no compromises made with the classic casio square (unlike with the DWH5600)Some may feel different about the buttons, but for me, they are perfect, It was such a pain clawing at those older casio squares every time daylight savings would roll around.I'm all around impressed that this is a watch I can set with my phone and receive notifications (albeit on a very limited interface), but still manage a 3 year battery. Imean we all know it's gonna be less if you use the backlight and vibration too much, but I don't.To me this is the best update to the classic square yet. I was considering the DWH5600 until I saw just how thick it is, and looking at the battery life, I might as well get an actual smart watch rather than a hybrid. No thanks. The physical difference between this GBD200 and the classic squares is negligible aside from the buttons. both are equally comfortable, last long, look awesome, and can take a beating.As for the smart stuff, It's not motivation to buy the watch. It's a nice convenience to be able to keep it at the right time with your phone. Unless you receive only texts, notifications don't make a ton of sense, since there's no way to filter other stuff. I'd say there's untapped potential with the way the syncing process works. It would be nice to get custom watch faces. Even with the limitations, the MIP display has so much room for creativity, and I could deal with the watch taking a while to receive data for the sake of some pizazz. Just a thought. Well, the watch arrived and was I very ecstatic to open and try my new G-shock watch. I opened it in front of my father and he was looking at the watch while I was going through the settings. I let my father see it and he liked it. I asked him if he wanted the watch and he said sure. 😁 Just my little story of how I ended up purchasing a second watch (same model) on the same day it arrived. ...the waiting for watch arrival has started again. Watch went to a very well deserved owner. The watch is great. Well worth the purchase...s.

My boyfriend absolutely love it. It is perfect not too technological and really robust. I recommend. There is a lot of fonction which is really surprising for a watch that look standard. It can be link to a phone and allow you to read text message. It is a semi intelligent watch which is exactly what my boyfriend wanted.

Everything works great still, was planning to get a I watch but I’m not much fan of smart watches. So I went with G shock, it’s not the perfect one but its value for money. And there is a slight lag in receiving notifications on the watch.

Me gusto que es cómodo elegante y deportivo, el único pero que le pongo es que en el cronografo no marca las centésimas de segundo. Por lo demás me gusto bastante

I get a lot of compliments about it all the time.
