Sharknado: The 4th Awakens

With so many different sharknados happening in various cities, this has to be the BEST movie in the series!
The title says it all! I recorded this movie on my DVR when it premiered on SYFY channel on July 31st and watched it constantly! Then, when I found out when it was coming out on DVD, I thought, "Oh, I've got to order this." So, I pre-ordered it on Aug.23rd & chose two-day shipping so it'd arrive the day it came out and it did. There are so many things that I love about this movie: 1. The title, cover art on the DVD & the intro are a parody of the film "Star Wars-The Force Awakens", 2.The actors & actresses who play the characters, especially Ian Ziering, who plays Fin Sheperd,,Tara Reid, who plays Fin's wife, April, Masiela Lusha, who plays Fin's cousin, Gemini, Ryan Newman, who plays Fin & April's daughter, Claudia and David Hasselhoff, who plays Fins father, Colonel Gil Sheperd, 3. The celebrities who appear in cameos like actor Adrian Zmed, actress Alexandra Paul, comedian Carrot Top, Las Vegas entertainer, Wayne Newton and former Motley Crue lead singer, Vince Neil, 4. The fact that, while, in the first 3 "Sharknado" films, the sharknados are water-based, in this one, they're land and element-based, such as a sandnado,, a bouldernado, a firenado, a lightningnado, a lavanado, a cownado, a hailnado and a nukenado, 5. While in the first 3 "Sharknado" films, the sharknados happen in singular cities(Los Angeles, New York City, Washington D.C. and 2 cities in Florida), in this one the sharknados happen in various cities I also like the special features on the DVD, especially the behind-the-scenes featurette about the movie, titled "Viva Sharknado!" So, I recommend this movie to anyone who's a fan of the "Sharknado" series because, believe me, it is TERRIFIC!!!

Wow!
I thought I had seen all the Sharknado movies, but obviously missed this one. This was exceptionally good -- still building the story's main character, types of tornadoes, how to destroy the Sharknadoes, sharks eating celebrities, and bringing characters back to life.I love the celebrity cameos.I love the soofs, puns, and CGI used throughout the movie. There are so many bleached blondes (like April) who end up eaten, I'm still trying to figure out the joke.I've been thoroughly enjoying the Sharknado series. It is important to watch the movies in order. Thankfully, we're able to do that here on Prime video.

ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!
It's ABOUT TIME that movies like this are being made! I don't want to sit around for 2 or so hours and ponder the suffering and soul surfing quest of a poor individual who finds the miraculous power to enable himself to deal with life and society and blah blah blah..... HOLLYWOOD...... JUST MAKE FUNNY OVER THE TOP MIND NUMBING ENTERTAINING MOVIES!!!!! If I want to see a story about life "issues" I'LL LIVE MY LIFE!!!!

I've Always Wanted To See Carrot Top Get Eaten By A Shark!
I am a big fan of the "Sharknado" series, and while "Sharknado: The 4th Awakens" is not my favorite of the bunch, it's still ludicrous action comedy gold. At this point anyone who has seen the series knows the filmmakers are simply going to go further over the top than the last installment, and they do. In fact, that's probably why I'm a bit cooler to this one than the first three: it at some points tries too hard to be more of a spectacle than volumes one through three; given that it's largely set in Las Vegas, though, it seems the producers definitely knew what their vision was and executed on it. Of course Ian Ziering and Tara Reid are back as shark hunters and the myriad cameos are endlessly fun to watch for (though "Sharknado 3" with Mark Cuban and Ann Coulter is hard to top). Here keep a lookout for Duane Chapman, Wayne Newton, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Paul Shaffer, and in the single most rewarding cameo, Gilbert Gottfried as a "Today Show" correspondent who meets an extremely unexpected and rewarding fate. Of course Gary Busey is always an amusing train wreck, and here never fails to get laughs, and David Hasselhoff is likewise perfectly cast. What's the plot? You pretty much know: tornadoes full of sharks (and boulders, sand, oil, fire, and nuclear byproducts) terrorize America, and Fin Shepard (Ziering) has to think on his feet and find creative ways of fending them off, preferably with a chainsaw. What else is there to say? It's absolute genius from The Asylum, featuring lots of in jokes and references to other movies, ludicrous action and insane CGI, and the hilariously off-kilter acting, plot, and direction you would expect that make these movies national treasures (of sorts). The DVD also includes some extras like commentary, a "making of" feature, and deleted scenes that are fun to watch. Enjoy all the fish, served up with a heaping helping of cheese!
