My mother has been asking for slippers for a long time. She has not had a pair since she slipped in the house while wearing the type of slippers that have no back on them. I was hesitant to purchase any for her because of her history with falling, but every time I talked to her she mentioned how she would sure like a pair of slippers. Anyway, I decided to look for a slipper that could be tightened at the toe area to fit snugly. I also wanted a slipper with a back on it. I couldn't find any in the local stores but found this slipper through Amazon. Mom was really happy when she got these slippers and says she likes them. I've cautioned her to not wear them all day long as her foot needs more support, so she wears them in the morning when she first gets up and in the evening when she is getting ready for bed.

I bought these for my elderly mother who has swollen feet from time to time especially at the end of the day, and in spite of the velcro, they only fit when she has NO swelling at all in her feet. If you are buying for a senior with even mildly swollen feet, be aware they are narrow-cut and I bought the wide width (and my mother normally wears narrow shoes!). Her normal sandals have much more adjustment to handle changes in foot size and these are no different than her older name brand slippers in width. Not what I expected all all and definitely NOT wide cut. For regular and narrow feet, however, these look like they could be comfortable slippers.

I am sensitive to synthetic fabrics and have to wear cotton. In addition my feet will sometimes swell. It is so difficult to find cotton slippers which fit the bill. These worked much better than expected. They are filled with what feels like synthetic foam, but the outside cotton fabric is working just fine to prevent any reaction to the non-cotton component. The adjustable closure works great if I need to loosen them up. My only issue is the open toe, but they are warmer than I anticipated. I can occasionally feel a draft, but over all, they are better than I have been able to find elsewhere. I will buy again.

I'm giving the slipper themselves 5 stars because they looked well made, cozy and nice for what they are. Due to severe edema, they were too small for the person I purchased them for, so had to return them. I even thought about keeping them for myself, but since I have too many slippers as it is, decided to go ahead and send them back. If the person you're considering buying them for (yourself?) has feet that are normal size or even slightly swollen, they would be nice. For severe swelling and edema, this may not be the right item.

Purchased these for my mother because they have the heel enclosed. I wanted a house shoe that wouldn’t flop on her foot to give her stability. She has a narrow foot and heel. The toe box has Velcro and is adjustable which is great. The heel is a bit loose but with socks works good. (She is like a 3x narrow foot, hard to fit) She likes them a lot.

Nice shoes and I have wide feet. I wish there were more padding on the sole. For the price the padding on the sole is OK but I would like a shoe with more padding and would be willing to pay more for it.With this shoe I can feel what feels like the innards of the shoe.

The woman for whom I got these slippers has Charcot's foot on both feet and nothing is going to fit - if it did today, it won't tomorrow when the bones shift . She's delighted to have something that will go on her poor feet and not hurt. Standing and walking are no longer possible for her.Thanks for getting them here so promptly.

I tried really hard to get these slippers to work. They were not long enough or wider enough for my feet. I have lymphadema and my legs and feet swell so bad it hurts. It is so hard to find some thing to fit. I have even tryed men's and they do not fit. I need extra wide and size 11.5 in ladies. And in men's size 9.5 or 10
