Large too big. A Medium would be best.
This works well for the most part. It is a little bit bigger than expected. I ordered the large because I needed this for 9 to 14-year-olds. So to play it safe I went with the large. The large is definitely suited to bigger kids and/or adults. I think if a medium was available that would be the perfect size, but still, the smaller would work better than the large for the age ranges I work with.

I have twin 11 year olds! Obviously, the sizing is off! (Bought small sac, mistakenly) *see photo*.
My twins EASILY fit in this sac together. They can close it up fully, both inside. They are both 11.5 years old, and are big (tall/ muscular, so heavier) than average, at least in all their classes, (tall gymnasts- 5 feet, 85 & 86 lbs.) and I accidentally bought the smaller sized sac for under 10 years old, so I was shocked that both fit in. They can close it up. See photo.. they popped out for the photo, but can fully enclosed themselves inside, and I was worried about this sac being too small.I can even squeeze into it. 5’6’’ tall, 127 lbs. ????. I’m very glad then that I did NOT order the 10+ size, as I can only imagine how big it would be, with zero resistance on my child (or children together), as this is not providing much resistance unless they are both in it, really, which isn’t how it is supposed to be, so the sac is way over-sized and not correct, so if you have a teenager, buy the smaller size, odd as it sounds. (Or go for something else.. maybe that’s more of a secure, snug enclosure.)It gets 2.75 stars, rounded up to 3 stars, ONLY because I DID get the wrong size, luckily, and the quality is decent/ decent resistance in the smaller size, but still not quite enough. I feel like the material needs to be thicker, maybe a tad less stretchy, so it feels more safe and snug to a child with a sensory issue that is looking to feel safe and secure. This is just OK for us. I may use it for when I feel overwhelmed as a mom 😂, but seriously.. it’s VERY stretchy, but too much so, too big, and maybe a tad over-priced for what you get, so I think that my 2.75 to 3 star review is quite generous, however, since my kids enjoy playing with it.. I’m being more generous, but not best for its intended purpose, sadly.Oh, and it’s not packaged in a separate package. Mine came in a generic Amazon bag.. not inside it’s own packaging- FYI, in case you were gifting it, or what have you. I thought that was a tad unusual. Didn’t matter much for me, it just wasn’t expected.I hope my review has proven helpful :).*photo of my girls with their daddy.*

Looser than I expected
I love this idea for the kids in my classroom who just need this little bit of a hug feeling to help them calm down. I love that this has a lot of stretch to it and can accommodate many sizes however, it's a lot looser than I expected. In a way, this is better because it can fit a wider range of kids but it isn't as tight on those kids who are smaller. Overall, I'm glad I have it and those who have used it have enjoyed it. It helps to calm them down and give them something to focus on. It's definitely worth it for teachers.

nice
This is a nice sensory sack. I wish there was a size in between though. It really helps to calm with nice compression when kids need it.

Too tick and hard to strech
We own two of the blue small size sensory sacks from Fun and Function and my kid love them. My kiddo is getting too big for them so i ordered the large size. Fabric is not the same as the small ones he is used to. Its ticker, hard to stretch and not as breathable as the small blue ones. Changes are hard for kiddos with Autism so as soon as he tried the large one he said “NOPE! its not the same”. Sadly i will have to return it and look for another option.

Large size is perfect for an adult who gets panic attacks! I use it like a Taco!
I get really bad panic attacks because I have PTSD. I had never considered trying something like this until is came up on Amazon Vine. I get to try the product and then give my honest opinion about it. I got the large size and it has been an amazing, effective product for me.I got the large size and it is perfect for my 5 foot 6 inch torso. I use it like a taco on the floor. I put the sack on the floor and then lay my body inside of it. I then close the sack over me, but I leave a little crack in a spot so I can see light outside (I also get claustrophobic, so that is why I leave the little crack of light.).This sack calms me down right away and I only have to stay in it for a few minutes taking deep breaths and I can get my panic to settle down.I wasn’t sure about the fabric at first because it is thick polyester, but it is the perfect amount of compression - not too much and enough around my feet and head. It is nice and stretchy and I actually like the fabric very mush. It is very well made too. It would be really cool if they made this is a soft fuzzy fabric and maybe in some fun prints like animal print or pink.I have tried weighted blankets in the past and I don’t like them, but this sensory sack has been a life saver for me. Well worth the cost for the effectiveness and quality!!!
