Because of the pandemic, we have not been getting haircuts as often in our household. Because my little boy's hair grows so quickly, I cut it at home most of the time. These scissors are EXTREMELY sharp. The texture shears help prevent a blunt cut and make blending a breeze. There is a dial to adjust the tension and it makes it super quick. The item comes well packaged and a comb is included. While I am not a licensed cosmetologist, I have been styling my family's hair for over 15 years. These are WAY better than anything you can buy at a big box store and are of high quality.

Smaller Scale and Very Sharp
Sharp haircutting scissors with an easy to adjust dial and blunted tips.The scissors are on the shorter side - only about 6" long excluding the long finger rest, with the cutting blades measuring about 2 1/2" - which make them a bit easier to handle to me. Very long scissors tend to be a bit unwieldy as I cut hair and this smaller size avoids that problem. The blunted ends will make accidental neck pokes less painful, too....as you can probably tell by now, I am definitely not a professional stylist but do my best to keep the family's hair looking neat between salon and barbershop visits.To adjust them I only had to turn the knob. No tools or screwdriver is required. The knob does have a circle of 10 small rhinestones decorating it which look nice against the bright blue tension spring underneath the knob. Once adjusted to my liking they cut well without pushing the hair away instead of cutting it --- nice and sharp!The handles have a small rubbery bumper to cushion the closing action and a longer finger rest which is very comfortable in use.Also included in the sturdy box was an 8" black comb and a thin plastic case for the scissors. The case worked well in shipping to protect them but doesn't seem like it will last very long in use.
