This is an excellent DAC.I bought a reasonably priced 32" TV set for a bedroom.It has an excellent picture quality but in fairness to inexpensive flat screen TV's the sound is not great.I owned a top quality half size Denon Receiver but due to it's age it had no HDMI inputs.The TV had no phono outputs...one choice left...The TV has an Optical Out the Denon has an optical in but neither has an onboard DAC.I connected in the above DAC with outstanding results even at very low volume settings.I am delighted with this DAC and would not hesitate to recommend or buy again!Many Thanks CeeBee.

I bought this to covert from audio optical output to 3.5mm audio jack.This enabled me to connect my Bose subwoofer and speakers to my new smart tv as it didn’t have the audio socket.Brilliant sound again without having to buy a new sound bar.

I use this little DAC to connect the optical digital audio output socket on my HiSense smart TV to the RCA stereo input sockets on my legacy 1984 NAD hi-fi amplifier. The DAC takes power from a USB socket on the TV, so doesn't need an additional power supply. It comes with all the necessary cables and works very well. It has given an old amplifier a new purpose for negligible cost.

I had a 15 year old TV that I wanted to connect to a sterio system as, the TV sound quality was poor. The only audio output from the TV was SDID CO-AX. It took about 2 minutes to connect the cables (co-ax and USB power cables supplied, phono cables needed). Works perfectly with no issues. It looks and feels like a quality product.

I mistakenly ordered this one which does not have a volume control.I previously had the same make which had a volume control and was much better but it died after 18 months or so.

Bought this fir my sons Samsung smart tv as he had issues listening to the set via headphones as there is a blue tooth connection on his TV.Tried various options including optical sound cables, Bluetooth transmitter and when I found this due to the issues we found to be honest I didn't think it would work. I firmly thought he wouldn't be able to listen to it on headphones.I was wrong.This was so easy to set up, followed tje instructions and 5 mins later he was watching his TV listening to through ordinary wired headphones just as hw wanted.Good for the price and Does exactly as it says on the tin .Well worth the purchase.Well done amazon great product.

It didn’t work, initially I thought it’s due damaged optical cable, I bought one from Argos but it still doesn’t work. So disappointed. In the picture it shows volume control but device received doesn’t have volume control.

Casi ninguna tele lleva salida analógica de audio (conectores RCA o jack auricular). Si quieres conectar el sonido a tu cadena HI-FI sin entrada óptica, no hay más remedio que utilizar uno de estos chismes.Éste funciona bien y no es caro.Pero la instalación de cualquiera de estos dispostivos resulta una guarrada. Quedan un montón de cables y cosas detrás de la tele. Además, o la tele tiene una salida libre USB* con alimentación o hay que comprarle un alimentador. Más enchufes, cosas y cables. Todos estos disparates no son culpa del aparatito y cada vez que quieres limpiar el polvo detrás de la tele, maldices a su fabricante por no poner una salida analógica de audio. Ellos van a lo suyo: vender barras de sonido.*Nota - Salida USB de la tele para alimentar a este dispositivo: El consumo del dispositivo es muy reducido pero, generalmente, los fabricantes de los televisores no especifican la corriente máxima en las salidas USB de sus aparatos. También algunos no incluyen alimentación en el conector. Yo lo enchufé y como que funcionaba, lo dejé conectado.

Partiamo dalla spedizione e che come al solito risulta da manuale: precisissimo. La confezione contiene il convertitore, un cavo Usb, un Cavo ottic,o un cavo RCA mono, un piccolo manuale e una carta per registrare il prodotto, direi quindi una buona dotazione e anche una bella ,direi, confezione .Il prodotto già all'occhio e al tatto da una sensazione di prodotto di alta qualità e solidità. Ottimo. Il collegamento è davvero semplice basta collegare il cavo Usb dietro una delle porte Usb del vostro TV per alimentare il convertitore, collegare il cavo ottico tra il convertitore e la TV, e poi collegare , in base alle vostre necessità, il convertitore tramite o Jack cuffie o cavo RCA alle vostre cuffie o al vostro impianto stereo etc.Io l'ho collegato alle cuffie wireless tramite cavo Jack e vi garantisco che funziona davvero bene ,suono nitido e molto dinamico. Prodotto consigliato.

Köptes för att ersätta en äldre, mycket dyrare dac som såg ut likadan ut ungefär. Mycket prisvärt.
