this stuff is awesome! My little Siouxsie dog has been slipping/falling on ...
So far, this stuff is awesome! My little Siouxsie dog has been slipping/falling on the wooden stairs leading down from my back deck into the back yard, so I purchased some of this non-slip stair tape and put it on there. This was put on stained wood in fairly warm weather. So far it's been on for over a week, and it's holding VERY well (like perfectly), and the Siouxsie dog is not slipping any longer, either. I'm really loving this, and I'm going to be putting some on the front porch steps as well very soon, too.Attaching a quick photo: Yes, I know the tape isn't centered, but they are in the location that Siouxsie walks the most when going up/down the steps, so they are exactly where they need to be. :-)

The wood surfaces are good, but not perfect
Went on easier than expected. I used a roller after placement and waited until the next day to walk on them. They are on old wooden outdoor stairs that I cleaned, sanded, and stained. The wood surfaces are good, but not perfect. The non slip strips stuck down like the wood was new. They have withstood rain since being installed and are stuck down like part of the wood.

Falling off after 3 months, but still trying more
Put ours on a steep ramp on a new deck. The deck is made of a recycled plastic material, which makes it slippery. I carefully cleaned off the deck and placed the grips using a rolling pin to really push them down. These grips worked great for the first month or two, but as it has heated up in the Florida summer (typically mid-90s in the sun), they have been falling off. I bought some more and am thinking about roughing up the surface a bit before installing again. Not sure what else to do. They are a good quality material and should work in most instances.

Looks good and good quality.
I was not sure about put it and did not apply on the stairs but I am so happy after I put all of them on my stairs. They looks good and they makes my daily up and down trips much safer. I hope it will last.

This size is hard to find at your Hardware Store in town
I like the size, as it fit perfectly on the treads of a ramp that was made for my eldelry uncle. When I went to the well-known Hardware Chain Store in our town, they only carried strips that were longer then my treads, or they carried a continuous roll, meaning I would have to cut each piece. This worked out best, and looks the best. And now I feel better about him walking up or down that ramp in the icy or rainy weather. The grit of the strips is rough enough to stop a slip.
