Our family drove over 2000 miles this past weekend and this bag held up perfectly. We had the roof rack installation and it was very easy to setup. Overall we loaded and unloaded 6 times as we were stopping in multiple cities. We stored 5 suitcases carry on size and a few other small bags. Straps were secure, there was no budge during our drive as I was consistently over 90mph at certain points. Bag did get a little tear, I'm not sure how that happened but nothing inside was exposed to anything. The rackless straps are metal and looks secure, I haven't tried it because I didn't feel comfortable with removing the trim on our rental to attach. I really did have trust issues at first with $1000+ worth of belongings on the roof of the car but it was great over all. Highly reccommend.

When it came is was huge. It was much larger than I had realized. Which is great imo. It did awesome. We drove from Utah to upper Michigan. 3000 miles round trip. In wind and snow and rain. Held up fantastically. No shifted items, nothing was wet etc. Infact I have been driving around with it on my van since we got home too. It was off while we were in Michigan.It goes on rather easy. I had to get a step stool to reach the center to pack it. I'm short.The zipper is very strong. The Velcro is almost annoyingly strong. It definitely does it's job. It hooks right up under the rubber weather strip for the vehicle doors.We fastened the 4 side hooks to the doors. But I did purchase some suction cup attachments separately. We hooked the two front and two back straps to those. Nothing budged.I do not have a roof rack, so idk how it works in rack, but flat roof was perfect.Folds right back down to fit in the bag it came with.We did notice a decline in gas mileage (to be expected). But when we were driving around 70 it did much better (there are speeds on the highway we too that was 80mph, where we noticed a big drop in gas mileage)The short of it. Its fantastic, did it's job very well. Would highly recommend.

We were nervous about using this because the price, but after the reviews we decided to buy it. It held up nice and strong for our 14 hour round trip vacation. It was easy to put on top of our journey, and it held up to speeds of 85 mph going down the turnpike. Definitely worth the buy! It’s also huge! We put all of our bags, boogie boards, and chairs up top so the car was empty inside, total game changer!

The material is strong and waterproof. I honestly didn't expect it to be made so well for the price. It's perfect and will make trips much easier. I will update more after it's first trip.

The material used to make this product is very heavy duty and thick. It is not cheap and thin by any means. Zippers, same thing. Just face the company logo to the front of your vehicle and you will be fine. Comes with extra straps in case you don't have roof bars or a roof rack. We're using this on my SUV soon to take a road trip to Devil's Tower, Mt. Rushmore, and Deadwood, South Dakota. It even comes with a tiny lock you can insert into the holes for the two zippers where they come together. It's a combo lock. No information on the combination, but you will probably figure it out quick. Three of the same number. Took me about a minute to figure it out and how it worked. I decided the lock was better suited to our tent door zippers, though.

This is an initial review upon receiving the rooftop bag. I will start by saying I'm very disappointed in a few things. First the "lock" it comes with is a cheap plastic toy lock that would never work. It would not even close properly. Next complaint is the storage bag that the cargo bag comes packed in was completely ripped. The storage back came with the bottom completely shredded and really won't work for storing it when not in use. As for the main bag I have not yet used it on my car but it seems to be thick and waterproof and it did come with straps and a non-slip mat to set on the car roof. I will be testing it out in two weeks and will update my review after to see how the cargo bag itself performed.

Pros - I didn't have to install a luggage rack (but that's for all removable racks)Cons -1- quality of the strap is so inferior the buckel snapped when I was testing the rack on the floor.. thank God I didn't mount it2 - no door hooks given which means i have to install a railing or buy door hooks separately which cost around 4k separately3 - The stitching around the carrier is really low quality.. i put some bags during testing and tried to zip it. The zip was stretched and could separate from the bag if i applied more pressure.. remember that's what will happen if we mount it..So overall not worth it.. there are other products that will give you accessories to support your installation while this comes in a below standard plastic bag..

Worst Quality,When i received it no accessories which is mentioned.Would not recommend to anyone..It is not worth even 1500
