Black JewellGourmet Microwave Popcorn, Touch of Butter, 10.5 Ounces (Pack of 1)

I love the convenience of microwavable heirloom popcorn! Black jewel is a wonderful option if you don't want to eat modern corn varieties, but being able to have it this way makes it that much better for our family.

Taste is highly subjective.I'm not a popcorn connoisseur, and I am partial to Costco microwave butter popcorn.This felt more dried and dense (which is not necessarily bad).I think if the Black Jewell is more price compatible, I'd have rated it higher.

04/17/13 -- UPDATE -- I do love this popcorn and am thankful that it doesn't aggravate my hyper-sensitive, auto-immune challenged system. Please note that between sellers prices vary widely though the product is the same. In addition, the verbiage is different than with other sellers making it appear as if 3 cases of popcorn are being sold for the price quoted. Not so. Though the price may be more than double that of other sellers, it refers to a single box.We've been eating all flavors of Black Jewell microwave popcorn for some months now and sending it all over the country to various relatives and friends as a "surprise" goodie in the mail.I suffer from food allergies so am delighted that plain, butter, and kettle flavors are all agreeable to my system. For years I've just done without microwave popcorn for lack of any that didn't cause my allergies to rage.The taste is delicious. We like butter in particular because sprinkling other flavors like Parmesan "sticks" better straight from the microwave.

I picked this brand based on a “best of” list. Oh no!! Flavor is alright, not great but it pops up small and grainy. Doesn’t completely pop and you definitely next to get floss with every box. Sorry but no

Nothing that sticks in your teeth! Very good tasting popcorn. Better than anything I have tried.
