We have already done almost half of the hikes in this book and they are all really nice and well described.

My wife and I used the book to go on three hikes during our recent stay in Santa Fe. The book was informative and helped us make selection of the hikes we took.

Well done. Liked the listing of jokes by approximate degree of difficulty.

While this book gave me some ideas for hikes, it is woefully out of date. Two of the hikes listed (12 Rio en Medio and 15 Kasha-Katuwe tent rocks) are permanently closed, and the trail at no 11 (La Cieneguilla) is very overgrown and hard to find - not the fault of the authors, but very frustrating nonetheless. One of the best hikes recommended by locals (Atalaya trail) is not even listed in the book. It would be more helpful to have more references to the trail numbers.
