Really good coconut oil and nice packaging. But it doesn’t have the smell of coconut oil I have used in the past.

Item arrived totally smashed and completely unusable, the outer box was damaged and the product was completely smashed, and it says I can't return it so how do I get a refund??

Use this for all sorts of cooking. Good quality oil and better for your health.

I usually use cold-pressed, organic coconut oil and this one is neither; it also says on the label that it’s “refined” and fragrance free. I like to use coconut oil on my toast (instead of butter or margarine) and really enjoy the flavour and aroma of coconut oil, which I admittedly missed here. The oil has a mild, neutral buttery flavour which makes it just about adequate as a spread but I think the mild taste and odourless quality makes it a much better choice for cooking and baking where you really don’t want the taste of coconut carrying over into your food.I like that this product comes in a glass jar as opposed to plastic but the coconut oil is a noticeably creamy, solid ivory colour, not the truer white shade I’m accustomed to seeing (I've uploaded photos with my usual brand from Amazon, for comparison). It reminds me more of the hard blocks of creamed coconut that you can buy in cartons. It’s a harder consistency oil but melts fine.Overall not bad - yes, I was disappointed with the lack of coconutty flavour and aroma BUT this is transparently a more processed product, deliberately odourless, not organic or cold-pressed so it’s a different standard from the outset to what I’m personally accustomed to; I think it’s perfectly fine (and best used) for baking and cooking (or as unscented beauty oil if you like to use coconut oil in this way).N o t e s :- Big 1 litre bottle (bigger than it looks in the official product photos)- Best before dates will vary but 12+ months on the jar I received- Country of origin: Philippines

I know lost use this for baking, but I actually use this after bathing as a natural body moisturiser. I literally just slather it on after my bath and then dab dry with a towel, It makes my skin feel really soft and hydrated and I love that it is 100% natural with no added chemicals.My only issue with it is the jar is very tall, so I have a little trouble getting the oil from the bottom when it starts to run out.Other than that, perfect! I’ve even ordered it again I was that happy with the value and quality 😊

This is a very large jar with 1kg of coconut oil, which looks like butter. Melts nicely in warm though. It’s a great healthy alternative for cooking, frying and baking.Also for clearing face, moisturizing, etc. Unfortunately I always forget about it as all the coconut oil we have been purchasing was living down in the kitchen, and I always forget in the bathroom while doing my daily cleansing rituals.This product looks quality and been made in the UK, using coconuts from the Philippines. There’s nothing else added, just the pure coconuts.Love the product, except that it’s fragrance free. I have missed that in the description, even though it’s clearly stated. It doesn’t taste or smell like other coconut oils we tried unfortunately. So you don’t get nice coconut flavoured dishes made with it, but the advantage is that this is a healthy alternative to other oils. And price seems to be on the higher end as well compare to similar products out there.
