You Share Genes with Me

Cuter than a baby bug.

Lovely little boardbook that helps children understand how much we have in common with other beings, and how much we've drifted apart. And all this with a few 2-liners and some percentages. This is more than a book to me. It's an heirloom, and I hope it gets passed down to future generations. I only got to learn about genes when I was in high-school. My grandchildren will probably learn as toddlers, thanks to books like these. Thank goodness for that, because there's too much 'I'm no monkey', 'the world is flat' and 'god made me in his image' nonsense being spewed into the open these days, unchecked and unashamed.
