What a beautiful leather!!, and how elegant this briefcase is!!! ! I wish it was roomy. This is for someone living in a city, working at an office two blocks away from his apartment. But it’s not good for a Montana pastor, who needs to carry a couple of Bibles and a laptop, and a change of clothes in his briefcase. He had such a briefcase, used it for 15 years until it perished in a fire. Unfortunately I can’t find the same one…

Alright, I thought I asked for a 17'3" one but I got one much bigger. Think it was 18". I fricken loved it, the smell of it says layer, it was gorgeous just too big so I returned it. Looked again and looking at the same one to reorder as 17'3" inches. I'm not very knowledgeable in this department but i think they're referring to the length correct and 17'3" is about standard. That's how I measured a prior one I bought years ago. That said, again, I strongly recommend this one. Just hoping it's the size they say it is

This is very nice brief case and well built. However, it leaves stains on clothing, most likely from the dye in the leather. It has so far ruined a white shite (shoulder strap) and a pair of khaki pants that the bag rubbed against. Perhaps it could be cleaned with saddle soap or the like, but it would lighten the color of the leather. Just be sure to carry it by the handle, away from your body, if you are wearing light colored clothing.

I really like the quality of the case, plus lots of room.
