His feet are dry
I bought these for my son, who works on a golf course. This time of year the dew really gets his boots and ultimatately his feet wet .He has worn them two days in a row and his feet have stayed dry, even those his boots have gone on the shoe dryer when he gets home. The socks are dry, they are dry on the inside and outside. Loves them so much, pricey but just bought two more pair.

wet shoes and dry feet
3 hours in the rain. Shoes were soaking wet, but my feet were dry. The socks are light and comfortable. Very happy with the results.

Definitely water proof
These socks are definitely my new favorites. They’re very waterproof warm Thick and comfortable. They were well Worth the money. We just started going caving and I needed some waterproof socks for the journey. They did the job perfectly and my feet have not gotten wet since I purchased them. I’m very happy with these socks. Are used to get blisters on my feet, but I haven’t Since I got these socks. They’re definitely durable and hold up to the task.

Great waterproof minimalist boots for extra wide feet!!
I wear a women's size 8.5 shoe usually, in the widest width - usually 2E width. Finding good fitting shoes is a nightmare, finding good fitting minimalist shoes even moreso. I like I take frequent walks in minimalist shoes - there's a lot of science now backing up the theory that too structured of shoes allows your foot musculature to atrophy, which leads to instability and possible later foot issues that are virtually unheard of in lesser developed countries that don't utilize structured shoes (planar fasciitis, arch problems, etc.). Your feet have a ton of complex muscles and bones. They're meant to move. When you walk on uneven terrain in very structured shoes, what you're doing is paralysing your feet and making areas further up the kinetic chain absorb that movement (your knees, your hips, your spine). I don't want to actually walk barefoot, however, because I don't want to worry about tearing my feet up on glass, stones, sticks, acorns, briars etc.Weirdly and irritatingly, minimalist shoes - while growing in popularity, certainly - still tend to be outliers, harder to find, carried but fewer brands, and worst, more expensive than typical shoes. In the summer I have gotten around this by wearing water shoes. If it's been raining though, ugh, I hate the feeling of my feet getting soaked. Minimalist boots are expensive as heck and few and far between. These boots finally tick the boxes for me. They're very flexible, minimalist soles, but sturdy enough to protect my feet. They're easy enough to slip on, accommodating to my wide feet, and best of all, waterproof!!!! I find them not comfortable to wear without socks than with, ymmv. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these, they're great, especially for the price.Happy hiking!

Not Waterproof
Not actually waterproof. False advertising. Only bought them because they claimed to be waterproof. Functional socks w/ rubber soles, but not waterproof.
