T620L Swim Buoy Waterproof Dry Bag Swim Safety Float Keep Gear Dry for Boating Kayaking Fishing Rafting Swimming Training and Camping

Used this on a recent trip to Roatan. Snorkeling off of West Bay Beach there is a good deal of boat traffic so I feel it made me more visible and kept my money and extra GoPro stuff dry. Worked perfectly and was easy to use. It didn’t interfere with swimming and was easy to pack for travel.

I got this safety float to be visible on my lake swims while training. I was able to slip my iPhone into a marine pouch and turn on my exercise app then seal it up in the pouch and roll up the dry bag and clip it shut then blow up the air chamber. Once that is done I clipped on the belt and took off. I swam .56 miles and never felt the float or the belt. The real beauty was when my swim goggles fogged up I rolled over on my back to take them off and clear them. When I rolled over the float lead naturally went under my arm and the float snugged against my back which gave me a boost up so I could reset my goggles and get going. My swim time was 18 minutes including loading and unloading my iPhone. I could not be happier. The Value for the Money goes without saying and the quality is reassuring for my personal safety. The ease of use and ample storage space is a Bonus. We will use the float on our SUPs as well. Be seen be safe.

I started lake swimming earlier this month at our summer home and was concerned about being seen by passing boats in open water. This buoy is easy to spot, has a nice pocket to store keys, phone, Garmin watch, beer, hot dogs, etc. in and I can barely tell it's there while I'm swimming. It's a good thing to have tagging along behind to help to keep from getting run over by boaters from Massachusetts - who drive boats worse than they drive cars.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this obviously for doing open water swimming and don’t usually leave reviews, but as this is a piece of safety equipment I felt it was important to share my experience.As you can see in the video, they really skimped on the buckle. It’s very weak and flexible and does not hold. Right from the start I’ve had problems with it coming loose while swimming, sometimes while tired, sometimes while I’m trying to deal with currents or a boat. It was really freaky how quickly it can come loose and just start floating away from you.I’ve ended up using a carabiner to hold it together for now, but even that I don’t like since it is more difficult to release.I WILL BE GETTING SOMETHING ELSE AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY

I just started to practice open water swimming recently and had stayed close to the shoreline at the local lakes, which limits the distance I could swim and puts me close to other swimmers, so I bought this buoy and it drastically opened up the area I could swim in. Despite not being skinny, with the buoy, I have no problems keeping my head above water when I have to stop, which means I can and have journeyed into wide open areas, and have been able to get much more swimming in. It does get in the way sometimes but I highly recommend it, especially if you swim alone.

El material es grueso y la correa tiene para ajustarse a la cintura, te puedes recargar sobre ella y no requieres más que una suave patada para mantenerte a flote, difícilmente la hundirás. Si la inflas mucho tendrás problemas para meter varias cosas. La recomiendo mucho, ten en cuenta que ponerla a secar o quitarle el exceso de agua, ayudará a prolongar su vida útilActualizo en 2024, solo para corroborar que es una excelente compra, llevo al menos 6 eventos en aguas abiertas y mi boya sigue en perfectas condiciones, sin fugas ni desgarros. La use una vez para nadar 5 k en el mar, me lleve mi teléfono y sin problemas de filtración de agua, eso sí, mete el celular en otra bolsa para que haya menos posibilidades de que se moje, y el traer algo en su bolsita la hace ligeramente cambiar su forma de flotar, ten en cuenta que cuánto más pesado sea lo que llevas, más alteras la flotación de la boya.

La boya llegó a tiempo y en buen estado. Es práctica y funcional para nadar en aguas abiertas. Como tiene una bolsa para guardar cosas, es más multifuncional que otras boyas mas sencillas.
