Best decision
Having sciatica and then recent back injury I needed something to sturdy my mattress and comfort my back. Immediately without even laying on the bed it looked and felt firmer and OMG the steadiness of moving around in the bed. My back is happy. Easy to install, just measure accurately before purchasing

Smaller than advertised, but the perfect solution for foam mattresses
I made the mistake of not only purchasing a foam mattress, but a fantastic looking yet cheap wooden frame platform bed. It immediately became clear that "no box spring needed" was a falsity, but adding a box spring to a low platform bed is not ideal as then the mattress would be ridiculously high up. For awhile I sank into the mattress as well because it would squeeze through the standard wooden slats.Thankfully I discovered this product. It came in a small box with minimal packaging. It's made out of quality wood that is really sturdy. It also comes in two halfs with a velcro strap that you can connect them with. Installing it was super easy & it being in two pieces made it even easier. I simply rolled one side of my mattress up a bit, slid the vertical slats in then unfolded the slats.Once I finished one half I immediately noticed that it was a couple of inches undersized as the one half didn't reach the center support beam. It was the same with the second half so I ended up not connecting them. Once I layed in bed though the difference was tremendous. No longer did the bed sink in. In fact was much firmer than I thought it would be. It made my foam mattress feel like a regular spring mattress.Sleepwise I have to be honest since it made it too firm I'm not that big of a fan. There's almost no give so it's a drastic difference from the sleeping on a pillow feeling. The bed doesn't creak or flex at all so there's no fear of breaking.Overall, it's a quality product, but they make a version that uses a softer wood as well as add another slat in-order to account for the missing inches since this is definitely not undersized for a king.

Works great for my queen memory foam mattress on a "wire" type bedframe.
I bought this as a support for my queen sized Purple memory foam mattress because mattresses such as these really need some kind of flat platform as opposed to traditional box springs and/or traditional bed frames that the underside of the memory foam mattress will sag into between the widely spaced slats/bars/wires of, leading to both accelerated deterioration of the memory foam and uneven levels of support across the bed.It worked perfectly for that purpose and allowed me to keep using my Zinus 18in wireframe platform bed (which is GREAT for storage in that up to six full sized plastic storage totes can slide right under it, hidden by a bed skirt) instead of buying a super expensive purpose-built memory foam mattress "platform" from one of the brand name manufacturers with half the utility of the former. All that said, it is simply a series of cheap wooden slats enclosed in a cheap fabric using a combination of visible staples and minimal stitching, so it is very much a utilitarian item and something best positioned UNDER a bed skirt as to hide it from view. While it did meet my specific need, and I would probably recommend it over similar products with even lower production value, at a whopping $80 I think it's substantially overpriced for what it is, and I'm kind of surprised that no competitor is willing to offer such a profoundly simple and cheap-to-produce high-demand niche product at a lower cost than this.

Bunkie Board Slats
My latex mattress weighs a ton and the manufacturer states that it should not be on a slatted bed frame. It needs a solid surface. With that, I just purchased a wonderful metal bed frame with slats which run horizontally, and I bought these Bunkie Board Slats which run vertically to completely support my heavy mattress. There will be no sagging with these. There was one caveat: the center board was badly warped. The heavy weight of the mattress will flatten it out in due time. These boards are nicely attached in a fabric which keeps them in line.

Added Support
I recently purchased an all metal platform bed with a lovely headboard I wanted to show so I got rid of my box spring. Unfortunately the frame didn’t give as much support as I hoped, so I bought a 4inch box spring. Still too high to show the headboard, so I looked at other support options. Found this and despite skepticism I ordered. For a queen bed, received 2 sections with 4 slats in each. They were definitely sturdy but not difficult to put on the bed. Stretched out, the 2 sections did not meet the full width, but I spread it out as evenly as possible. They are not secure on the bed, so sliding the mattress on will cause the slats to move. Had my son help me “lay” the mattress over the sections and the weight of it held the supports in place. It added the right amount of support I was looking for but was still able to display the headboard. It’s certainly worth what I paid and satisfied with the product, even with the gaps. The gaps don’t seem to affect the support and despite being unsecured, it doesn’t slide. Glad I bought it.

They dont last and not heavy duty
I purchased Treaton, 0.75-Inch Heavy Duty Mattress Support Wooden Bunkie Board/Slats with Covered, Full, Beige. And two of the slats broke. One broke while i was going to bed and the other when i sat down on my bed im 160 lbs ao there was no reason why they should have. My advice if u want something that wont last get this one.

They work
I have an ikea MALM bed with horizontal slats. Over time my mattress began to sink and became extremely uncomfortable. I bought these slats to reinforce the current slats as they go the other direction. They work great so far. I am worried that air won’t pass through the fabric sleeve the slats are in and they will make the bed hot in the summer or possibly mold. If that begins to happen I will just cut the fabric sleeve off. You could definitely just buy a sheet of plywood and cut it into the right size slats instead of buying this for much cheaper but this is also a great choice.
