Garden Weathervane Steel Roof Mount with Hardware,Adjustable Weather Vanes Mount for Roofs

It looks great on the peak of my shed. My dog barks at it whenever he sees it.

Looks like a great heavy duty product, though I haven’t installed it yet. Once I opened it I noticed one of the bases was missing a hole. Makes you wonder if there is actually QC before packaging. Luckily I have drill bits for this.

This mount was easy to install and seems quite solid. My only problem was that the rod of the vane I was using was quite a bit smaller than the opening. I found a piece of square welding rod that fit nicely and held the vane securely, so all was good.

I used this to mount my weather station to my roof crest. The instructions aren't well written, but they're clear enough. The hardware was adequate and easy to work with. I pre-drilled holes and easily mounted the unit.My weather station is very lightweight, and I placed this mount atop an aluminum runner and I expect it will be secure. If I had to mount something heavier (like an actual weather vane), the runner may not be enough- and I may have needed longer screws to tie into the roof truss. As with anything like this, I'd recommend you use your best judgement and caution.

Easy is install, directions easy to follow, packaged nicely, looks great!

I've had this for a year and a half and this morning, for the 3rd time, I had to climb up and straighten my weather vane after the wind from a thunderstorm bent It. The metal from the holding pads that attach to the roof and the vertical tube that the weather vane goes into is not strong enough to stand up to strong winds.Don't buy this if you expect to have any strong wind that could do this.

This was just what we were looking for. We needed a new bracket for our weather vane after a new roof and this was just perfect. Nicely made, strong and sturdy and adjustable to fit.

This was not a simple screw it to the roof and done. Tried and tried to get it straight and couldn’t. One screw stripped immediately. No sure if something was bent but ended up having to order a different type of roof mount
