This may be the first book I’ve ever left a bad review on. I had high hopes that this book would provide helpful information on the ways to handle narcissists if you are an empath.Instead, this read like a high-schooler’s term paper written on a topic the person knew nothing about. A huge part of it only defines the terms used. A lot of repetition that seemed to only serve to fill up the pages.It appeared to have had no editing done at all. Several sentences were totally repeated in the very next paragraph. The whole book is very repetitive.Very sloppily laid out and hard to read because of the way she worded sentences. I actually stopped reading at one point to find out if this had been written in another language and translated badly.Very very UNhelpful to anyone looking for information or helpful advice. I actually feel bad for leaving such an uncomplimentary review, but I hope it may help to steer another person interested in finding out more abt the topic to a different path. There HAS to be a better book on the subject than this one.

I'll admit to being very interested in the subject matter, but just listening to the audio sample gave me the feeling that I was going to have to suffer through an entire production recorded by an AI bot. Further, just the text in the description of the item has the most abhorrent English and grammatically speaking, I think my head might explode. It's a shame that I will have to pass.

Too many sentences that make positively NO sense whatsoever. For example, "Empathy is a form of negative empathy: You do not feel the pain of another person but understand, in part, his thoughts and feelings." How can a term be a negative form of itself?? Logically impossible. I was frustrated by Chapter 1. Returning.

Another review nailed it - it’s like a high school students bad term paper. In the introduction a paragraph is repeated, and the introduction isn’t even very long. Returned as quick as I could.

Like another reviewer said, I never leave negative reviews. Like her, I came to the review section for this title expecting to read that it was translated from another language. There may be some useful information in this book, but it’s buried in vague and even contradictory sentences. Organization is essentially nonexistent. Many studies are presented; some are are properly cited, some are not. If the print version is as badly written as the Kindle version, I strongly recommend that the authors invest in an editor and publish an update.

This book represents the many facets of people. Whether it is meant for good or evil, you can use this information to be informed. It uses examples that are true to help you understand what is happening within your relationship.
