This is a great set of drum mics for a entry level home studio setup. The build quality is good, and they sound great. My setup is this set of mic, with a tascam US-16X08 USB interface and Logic Pro. I invested in a couple Pyle boom stands to get the overheads.Recordings are what you would expect for using a spare bedroom as a drum room. There a definite dynamic ranges and cross bleeding. But for less than $500 for an entire setup, it's definitely worth it. I believe you could spend a lot more money for Shure or other major brands, and only have incrementally better sound, in the given studio space.I would recommend spending your money on the better audio interface, daw, and sound dampening for your space.

Good sound for the money, i use them in my church and the quality of the sound is pretty good.

It's very handy that the set comes with its own carrying bag, the mics are in great conditions and the customer service is fast and dedicated.
