These are the same as the stoppers that came with our house, so we've been able to go around and replace all of the ones that had gotten bent out of shape. It wasn't the fault of the product they got bent. I'm afraid that toddler grandkids were a little rough on them. They love to entertain themselves by pulling them back and listening to the "D O I N G" sound when they spring back. In spite of the fact that they got bent out of shape, we prefer them to the solid posts because they could potentially do damage to hollow core doors.

Simple yet effective. I bought these to replace one bad door stop (the old one would give way if the door was opened with even moderate force) and to add a few doorstops to doors in our apartment that had nothing preventing them from taking out the drywall when opened. In both cases, these door stops were easy to install, and have been really solid thus far. I tested them by gradually opening the door harder/faster, and never had them give away once. If you're looking to prevent any or additional damage to your walls, these door stops will do the job at a fair price. If there should be any issue with them giving away/weakening over time, I'll update this review.

Funny how you don't really think of how these start to look over time until you clean your floor boards. Cleaning mine last week and realized how yucky my old ones were looking. Had to get some replacements. This set gave me plenty to replace my main door stops.d They look nice and were easy to install. They will save my walls and my sanity now that I know what the old ones look like.
