RESISTOL Men's 2X Cisco Felt Cowboy Hat Black 7 1/4

This is a wonderful hat. But when I got it, it barely fit, however I was able steam the hat to the point where it would fit my head. I understand that every hat brand has a different size and every person's head is different than others. I normally wear a 7 1/4 hat, but I have one hat that is a 7 1/8, but fits like a 7 1/4. So some of y'all may have to go a size up or down to get a perfect fit, but if you need to go a size up, send it in to you local western shop to get it resized or do it yourself. Aside from being a little tight, I was able to steam it and fit it to my head and I'm happy with it! Thank you!

This is a great hat for the price. It is NOT a crushable! I have not been a fan of "rigid" hats but I have been won over. I had seen this hat on a fellow and asked him about it. When I found it on Amazon, I just had to have it. A REAL plus is the head band is oval (like most heads) so it fit GREAT. When I received it and put it on, for some reason, it didn't look right for me (my wife who really likes my crushable western hats agreed it was a great hat but not right for me. I am 6'1", 195lbs.). A key factor is the width of the brim. It is about 4.25 inches wide which didn't look right on me. It REALLY is a very nice hat! I arranged for a return with no problem. I did have to pay the return shipping. I contacted Hat Country (the seller) about another Resistol hat, the Hondo, which was a different style with a narrower brim. It is a 3X wool. I had to order directly from them since it was not listed on Amazon. The price was the same and they refunded the return shipping for the first hat!! They said since it was not a standard item it would take a while to manufacture it and get it to me. I told them that was fine. About 2 weeks later here is my new hat at my front door!! It fits great, looks really good, and I get a LOT of compliments on it. Dealing with Amazon and the folks at Hat Country was a pleasure!

I just got it as a gift for my husband on our anniversary... and He loves it... me too... Good quality and nice shape

the rim of the hat was too large for my head...looked very top heavy...liked the hat but needed to be measured to get the right fit...very sorry and appreciate the courteous way you do business with a nohassle return..thank you very much..drocke

My husband is strange about his hat & he had been wearing one to this for over 10 years. I got him a new one in hopes that he would wear it while we were together in public. He likes it and it fits great.

Once we found the correct size, this hat was a great find!!

Wanted a black felt hat for cold weather, sent it back- couldn’t see out from under brim. Bent too far down. Oh, and too big, hat mis-sized.

Good solid hat as you'd expect from resistal.
