The spade itself is good, but had it on the beach once and the blade has slipped about a centimetre on the handle.

Overall happy with the spade, children love it, its strong and does the job.Only thing is the handle is plastic, not sure why I expected it to be metal but I did.

Gave this a good load of stick on our recent holiday to France, had no problems digging a 6ft deep hole on the beach. No flex/bending. Very strong

Great spades
My boys love these metal spades. They are very hardy and won't break easily. After buying hundreds of plastic spades over the years that break after a few uses, I can definitely say I'll be sticking to the metal beach spades in future. Yes they are more money but in my opinion, they are worth that extra cost.

Strong Spade
I use this small spade the garden and find it very useful for picking up after our dog.It has been out in all weathers and does not rust. I highly recommend it.
