EZ BLADEMens Shaving kit With Straight Razor

This product is not bad for the price you pay. Personally, I was not a huge fan of the shaving cream, but the Gel was pretty good. The small instruction booklet lacks greatly in my opinion. While it provides insight into the products itself, it assumes that the buyer knows how to use a straight edged razor. This brings me to the razor itself. The razor is not your traditional straight edge razor, but a "simplified" version. Metal is designed to come apart to house razor blades, and is not itself a blade that is sharpened.Overall, if you are looking for a razor that you use a strops on, this is not it. If straight edge shaving is new to you, this kit could be beneficial, but I would recommend making sure the purchased razor blades fit and run the necessary length.Would I recommend? More often than not, I would recommend.

Great product... Fast prime shipping... The only issue was that my shave gel top was partially open so some of the gel was on the top and side of the bottle. Not enough to rant about but enough to let the company know they might want to put something over that top or change the type of top that's on the bottle...

I made the switch to the EZ Blade shave gel several years ago along with a single blade razor and a shavette for edging and I haven't looked back. I have sensitive skin and triple and quadruple blade shavers made my skin go nuts for years. Fighting acne and sometimes huge puss filled pimples from ingrown hairs. This shave gel changed the way I shave or at least how I feel about the task. When I saw this shaving kit, I wondered what else EZ Blade had to offer. First, there's a lot of stuff here. The shave gel, a shave cream or butter, an after shave, a shavette and an preshave oil. First let me say, I have a beard so I don't clean shave anymore and probably won't in coming years. so a few of these things I may never use. Im already familiar with the gel, the after shave spray is light clean and not cologney has a natural clean scent and doesn't burn when applied. My skin is too sensitive for the shave oil but everything else is awesome.I do have one disappointment, the included shavette. I already have a decent shavette but wanted to try this one. It looks good with a wooden handle, it works much like the one I have which also uses disposable blades. I tried inserting a blade but they slide right out. It appears to be slightly bent which creates a gap between the metal. Even weirder, the kit included a single double edge razor blade for a shaver not a shavette. For the price, I would expect better quality control. The bent shaver and the random blade makes this feel like someone tossed a bunch of stuff in a bag and mailed it off. So it kind of tainted the experience.

This kit has everything you need to begin shaving right away with your straight razor. It has shaving cream, shaving gel, and shaving oil so you can try different shaving mediums to find which is best. The aftershave cream is the best, as it moisturizes your face and your skin feels healthy and protected, instead of dried out. Be sure to buy the EZ razors because it's a good value and works great with the set.

The products were in good condition even after flying over several continents! Only problem is some containers weren't closed so the products ended up pouring a little.The smell of most of them is a little herbal so I minded that. But if you are into the whole herbal scent and it doesn't bother you, this is a great purchase.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. He said it really helps keep down and stop the usual razor burn he had been experiencing.
