These traps work very well!!

I have no dislikes for this product. I just put out the first 8 that I received. The best way to describe what I like is to compare these to the regular oil filled black plastic beetle traps I have been buying for years. These refillable new ones are more sturdy, and are made from a thicker plastic. The description say extra long, but they are about the same length, and very similar in width. The upper flat area looks like it will lay flat on the frames, and is less likely to warp. When the old ones would warp, the beetles can hide under the edges, which is not good. The price is better too, as the old beetle traps get higher in price every time I order them. And most of all I especially like that I can more easily clean these, which makes this item to have an even greater value. I will buy these again, and I highly recommend these.

Good product. Works as it should

Install these into my hives with them about half filled with vegetable oil and a small amount of apple cider vinegar, mixed in. Definitely see a reduction in adult hive beetles. Make sure you get them flat down against the wooden frames because the adult hive beetles like hiding under the lip. I will be purchasing more of these, and using them longer throughout the year next year.

I've tried a bunch of different traps, and these are my favorite. These reusable traps fit very well between the frames. Most of the other traps, especially the throw-away traps, do not fit well between the frames without moving the frames apart. Since they don't fit, it causes a slight gap above the frame which provides a place for the beetles to hide. I believe that gap makes it harder for the mites to get on top of the trap and therefore makes it difficult for them to enter the trap. The foxhound reusable traps do not have those problems. They are also easier to clean than some of the designs.I will note that the dimensions seem to be incorrect. The description says they are 10" long, but I measured 9".

Unlike one brand that you can put your oil in, then close the top and then transport to the hive, these you need to put in place, then remove the top and pour in your oil.

The traps exceeded my expectations.I had a severe infestation with the hive beetles this summer.Ordered these traps.My order arrived in two days.I put a cheep vegetable oil in the traps( filled them to 2/3) and insert in the spaces between frames. The entire process was super easy, and just took a few minutes.The traps collected about 90 % of the beetles in my hives during one week.The bees are happy again, so do I.I definitely recommend these traps.

These are a good value and I have been able to reuse them. They help keep the mites under control
