About the Author Since my early childhood had a strong fascination with politics and business. I was very appealed to know the story and motivation of the individuals who shaped the world in the past, the present and will do so in the future. I was a nerd always reading biographies and learning History when my classmates were chasing girls, playing football and getting drunk. I´m already in my forties but I am still fascinated with celebrities. What makes a big man big? It´s in the genes’, in the family? In the school?, Or in the fortune? How much of success is due to sheer luck? How much is due to the will of power? Can we believe in fate? I got an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Adelphi University. Since 1996, I have been an adjunct professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where I teach courses on Business History. For over 10 years, I was a member of the Executive Advisory Board at Columbia Business School and Faculty member I have written many bestsellers on politicians, leaders, entertainers and celebrities. Writing and sharing my findings is the passion of my life. Thanks for reading my books. I hope you´ll learn by reading as much as I learned by writing them. Read more

Good Intent, Poor Editing.
I love Michelle Obama so much! I expected more from this book. The author listed some good feminine qualities for women leaders, but the book is poorly edited, some dates are wrong and I came accross multiple typos.

A great tribute to a marvellous lady.
A wonderful tribute to a marvellous First Lady, mother, wife and inspirational exemplary hero to young women of all races. The documentary style of writing was unusual; even while clear and unpretentiously descriptive and even more Kudos to our First Lady.

Somewhat inspirational but not much depth
This book presents some interesting insight and themes of Michelle Obama's leadership journey and style. But it is rather brief so much be taken at face value, not a lot of depth can be reached in a book one can read in less than an hour.

Informational Read
This was a very informational read for me. I'm working hard to redirect my focus from negative thoughts/actions to more positive and uplifting ones and this is something that helped with that. I greatly admire Michelle Obama for her grace and poise! To know that she overcame so much without resorting to pettiness or slander is truly an inspiration! Thank you Mr. Brooks for your time and effort in this book.
