The necklace is very pretty and my 10 year old daughter loves how her new necklace looks . HOWEVER, the design is such that there is no clasp on the end so when you tie it around your neck you have to tie it in a bow and then bow it again , or tie it in a knot and then never be able to take it off . She got a similar necklace with smaller shells but the other necklace has a lobster claw clasp which makes much more sense . I was motivated to write this review as it is now midnight and it just took me an hour to get the knots out and get it off my daughters neck bc the bow had become tangled . If your child is active at all , expect this to happen . So beautiful shells , love the look , but the designer has to add a clasp to this unless you wish to be aggravated daily .

It is pretty, but it doesn't clasp,the strings tie. Not good.
