We used this for the swing part of a German schwenker grill and it worked like a charm. Easy for home use or to pack for camping. Leather case is nice.

When camping, I rarely ever cook on a campfire, and although I love my little alcohol camp stove, I could probably cut back on the amount of fuel I have to pack in, if I were to use fire more often for cooking and especially for heating water.So although I have not used this little gadget yet (current fire restrictions still in effect) it looks like it will be an awesome device to support a pot of water. It looks strong, well made and best of all it's very lightweight.

I could’ve sworn when I got this it mentioned leather in the title, after it shipped I saw a review mentioning fake leather, now the title shows PU and I don’t see that review…hmm. Anyways I bought this specifically over some that cost HALF the price simply due to the leather pouch, but it’s a junky, super cheap looking case.Now for the good, it’s 2 pieces, so you won’t lose or have to keep track of many little pieces. I saw some that has the chain, a bolt and nut and many little things to fidget with while camping and in rocks/grass/dirt that it seemed inevitable that you’d lose something in your kit or on the ground, and this is 2 larger items so seems a bit safer to keep it all together and easy to spot.Haven’t used it out doors yet, but seems durable.

We got this to add to our camping tool kit. It is compact and light. Just grab a few straight branches and you can have a cooking tripod set up in no time.
