The dogs like them, and they seem to work.
I bought these specifically for carrier training for an upcoming flight. The dogs are happy to eat them, and they do seem to calm them down. There does not appear to be any "hangover" effect later. I chose these because so many other similar products contain hemp oil. I am not opposed, but the country I live in has very strict laws against consumable hemp products - and they don't specify "human consumables".

Really works, Doggie loves it.
We have 2 doggies. One that is very friendly, loves people, and is very well socialized. And has never met a friend/neighbor who he didn’t love at first sight. And then we have a second dog. She is terrified of everything, and everybody, and her own shadow. Thunderstorms, lightening, fireworks, Fire crackers etc. Suffice it to say she was a terrified, scared, non-trusting, noise-sensitive girl. It got so bad she would stay only in one of our bathrooms, in the dark. Our vet prescribed some medications that did not work. Probably because she did not like swallowing a pill. Enter Velveeta, cheddar, Swiss and even Baby Bell. No good results. Into the bathroom she’d run.We felt so bad for her. She was living a “non-life”.To make an already long review even longer:We Even made from scratch home-made dog food. She rejected that food as well.We were sad and angry and felt so bad for her. Finally Somehow I came across these Calming Chews for Dogs on Amazon. We were already prepared for her rejection of these nuggets. Feeling pretty bad already that she might not want it.But she absolutely loves them!!On the days that she is exhibiting panic behavior we typically give her about 4 nuggets.Boo loves these little nuggets!! At last-something that really does what it says it will do.Great find. Helps the problem before it starts. Evidently great taste!

Not effective
Cats love the flavor but treats take almost an hour to kick in, then they really are not that effective

Don't work on my 2 Huskies...
I think everyone knows Siberian Husky's... well one of mine fits the breed. She's high energy (we exercise her), loves to "talk" and we talk back, but she doesn't know how to calm down and chill out. She's a rescue and is just on alert all the time. Tried these 30 minutes before we were due to have company over, after she was exercised... no luck. Our other Husky is older, blind, super chill and gets annoyed by her. I also gave these to her so she would give him a break. Nope.I tried them on my older Husky before I groom/bathe him. They made him MORE of a whiney baby. At least my mom got a great laugh out of it.These didn't work on my furry munchkins.I'm waiting to see if they work on my brothers chocolate lab. If they do, I'm giving these to him.EDIT: from 1 star to 4No they didn't work on my dogs (Siberian Huskies- look up a Huskies energy and metabolism- they are the only breed that can change their metabolism. They can run for hours and hours without getting tired. They're used in the Iditarod races with Alaskan Malamutes.); HOWEVER, the company gave me a full refund. So, 4 stars for excellent customer service. I appreciate this company and their concern about my dogs.I still don't know if they worked on my brothers chocolate lab... I'll update when I hear how their trip went.

Cat will not eat
Unfortunately, my 11-month old highly strung cat will not eat these. At age 78, Jax is my first cat. It is a struggle to keep him entertained. Cats seem very different from the dogs I have raised from puppy hood. Because of physical restrictions, walking a dog is no longer possible for me. I'm hoping he settles down and stops pouncing on me soon. The scratches and bites are not pleasant.

Works great
Our dog has severe separation anxiety and these help tremendously to keep her calm. We use these daily with our move out of state and we haven't had any of our regular issues with her thanks to these.

DID NOT WORK!!
Im pretty disappointed in this product after reading so many good reviews. I have 4 dogs ranging from 3.5 months (pure German Shepard), 4 years (rot/gsd mix), and 10+ years old (Chihuahuas) in age.Idk for sure if it worked on my puppy. She has regular nap times and pretty much fell asleep like usual after taking the recommended amount. Kinda took the edge off but nothing that really made a difference tbh. If anything it gave her the zoomies before nap time lol. She weighs 20-22lbs so maybe because she’s on the cusp of needing more than one treat it didn’t do much but again she’s a puppy that barely made the age cut off and I didn’t wanna risk anything. She was not fazed by fireworks either so I wasn’t really worried about that. Mostly wanted them for crate training but wearing her out was more effective than the calming treat. As for the 4 year old, he seemed sleepier than normal but again nothing too effective. He was still pretty anxious overall. We gave him 4 due to his weight and noticed that it worked a little better than the puppy since his weight was closer to the lower side of the range. Idk if that affects anything but there ya go. He’s also not fazed by the fireworks and is usually pretty mellow but gets worked up when the chihuahuas freak out over the them. Now for the 10 yr old Chihuahuas, it did absolutely NOTHING. They’re 8 and 10 lbs so I gave them each 1. They get really anxious with fireworks and were the main reason why I got these. They had NO EFFECT whatsoever!! She was just as anxious after giving her the treat. I waited a good hour maybe hour and a half before fireworks started so there was enough time for the treat to take effect and NOTHING HAPPENED. Didn’t affect them in the slightest. Not sleepy or calmer or anything. One of them didn’t even want the treat either (she’s picky tho) so I had to mix it with a treat she does like. Maybe the dog breed has something to do with it since chihuahuas are spawns from hell but idk.The taste: all dogs ate it fine except for my picky eater sooo do with that info what you will.Overall: if you wanna take the edge off then sure waste ur money. Now if you’re looking for something that’ll help with fireworks/really anxious dogs then look elsewhere cuz these were CRAP!!

Works well, but very hard to get my dog to eat them
If your dog is not food motivated, dont bother as these are very hard and not attractive smelling. I managed to cut one up and hide it in food, but was more of an effort than i wanted.
