I loved the look of this, so I purchased it with all intentions of patching it with some floral fabric behind the fringed openings. What can I say, I'm modest. I like the fact that the skirt covers my knees, has no split in the back to accidentally embarrass me if I bend over the wrong way, and it's just overall an adorable skirt. It's well made and fits very well (fits as expected). I'm pleased. If it came in an additional shade, I'd buy it again. The only cavet is that it doesn't come in smaller sizes. My teeny, tiny teenage daughter loves it and wants one! To help those out who aren't sure what size to buy, follow the size chart listed with the product description. I don't usually care to share my weight, but I think it will be helpful here. I'm 5'2, 165-170lbs depending on the day. I carry the majority of my weight in my hips, thighs, and rear. I purchased a 1x equivalent to a 14/16 I suppose, and the fit is perfect. Not too tight, not too loose.UPDATE - I later ordered this skirt a 2nd time and did not receive the same skirt. The fit was much smaller as well. The Jack David skirt is not the same skirt I originally reviewed. The skirt I gave 5 stars was the original one. I was very unhappy with the Jack David skirt overall. I would give it 3 stars.

I love this skirt! I bought a size 2XL. At first I thought it was going to be too big and grandma is but no it’s perfect. I’m 5’6 and 200Ibs(200-211 fluctuating weight lol).

The skirt came super fast before it was even due to come which was nice. It runs a little small but it stretches so that helped. It’s not the color on the pic it was black but it bleeds like crazy. It was all over my hands and clothes once I touched it. When you wash it the color completely washes off into another color. The pics show the before and after wash. If I wasn’t being lazy I would return it but I’ll take the loss this time.

The skirt isn't exactly like the image. The distressing is not the same but overall still a nice skirt. Has some stretch but not too much. It was tighter than I like to wear my skirts very fitted. Hits above the knee with it at my waist I am 5'2 so good length. Overall good skirt just didn't fit as well as I wanted it to

This skirt runs small so order a size up (or two) unless you want it skin tight. The distressed marks are actual holes. Not distressed marks with fabric underneath. When you sit down, and the skirt shifts up a bit, you can see brightly colored skivvies. Plus it's drafty on your upper thighs with all of those holes lining the front. Incase it's not obvious, I don't like the holes.

According to their sizing, I would be a 3X. It's still a little snug and I'm a US size 18. However, it is very stretchy. My only concern is that it is much darker than pictured. It is distressed, but I would have liked a little more faded out.

You must order a size up! Thankfully I read the reviews first! I love the fit and the stretch of the fabric. It hits right below my knee, I’m 5’4”. The distressed parts are in the right places and aren’t actually holes, there’s a little fabric holding it together. Overall, a very good buy!!
