The media could not be loaded.  this heat gun is very good and it heat very quickly..but now the gun and coil is damage..where can i get the spare parts

Received defect product, unfortunately I did not take video when I was opening now they are saying they can't return. Worst service

Purchased one of these for work over a year ago. Used a LOT as I reword boards with surface mount components. It heats up fast and more importantly it heats up as soon as you remove the handle from the holder. I purchased a "similar" unit for home and it only heated when the handle was pointed downward. That doesn't help when you want to heat the underside of something. This one heats when the handle is removed from the holder. I actually purchased another for home that was again a similar model that SAID it heated when handle removed from holder but it was the same, had to tip down. They sent a replacement handle and holder to "fix" the issue and it fried the unit completely so I just got this one the same as my work unit. Very happy! When you put the handle back in the holder it runs full blower until it cools below 100C then goes into sleep mode.

As commented, this device comes with 2-pin non-UK plug and a 3-pin UK adapter. As such, I was concerned that unless I replaced the 2-pin plug itself with a 3-pin UK mains plug I would be the earth path for this device....no thanks. Personally, and not providing electrical advice of course, I have fitted a UK 3-pin plug. This allowed me to confirm that there was continuity from the earth pin on the plug right through to the metal hot air tip. I also confirmed on my supplied model that it was indeed the live wire which was fused and switched. On the model I received the external fuse-holder has been replaced by a small internal board with soldered fuse. The earth wire to the metal of the hand-held hot air device is screwed to the metal base of the case at a separate point from the mains earth bond, although both appeared secure and the wire thickness seems OK. On testing all metal surfaces have connection to earth pin on plug although the front metal plate and sides seem to rely on screw connections to the main back/base section for this. Will check back on use later.

The included mains adapter is of the wrong type for earth continuity. Either void the warranty by fitting a uk plug or order a better adapter separately. I have adapted tools bought on amazon before, I use an adapter from vguard and had one to hand. The machine itself seems similar to all the others in this class and like it will do the job. This adapter issue is not particularly forgivable but I suppose if you are buying this product then you read the reviews and you already know etc. before it arrived, as did I.
